There is an ASW version used by Russian navy. It is a flying boat which means it can land on water and be refueled in the middle of the ocean by replenishment ship so it is not range limited like land based ASW planes like Il-38, P-3C, P-8 are limited by range.

We used to borrow one of those here in Greece for the firefighting season. Pretty cool plane.

AG-600 is not operational yet and it's not jet powered.

But not as fast. Endurance is not a factor for flying boats because they can land on water and get refueled by replenishment ships.

and subs are slow, track/.engage subs you need endurance fast jets is unsuitable for track/engaging SLOW SUBMARINES, AND replenishment ship not always on the spot, and land based sub hunters has a air to air refueling capabilities, so it nullifies the advantage of being land on water and refuel

Aerial tankers don't have the range and endurance of replenishment ships. Flying boats can be refueled anywhere in the ocean. Land based ASW planes can only patrol within a few thousand km of the coast.
