Bentleys For Saudi Fighter Pilots

.
Land isn't given after every mission...it's given at the end of your service.

Completely different circumstances, completely different merits.
I am aware of that. Point is how much action Saudi Air force pilots have seen? This is for the first time perhaps after Iraqi invasion. Compare this to the action Pakistani troops have see in past 10 or so years. Of course we cant reward them with pieces of lands following every action. Besides who are we questioning Saudis how they want to reward their pilots? Are they rewarding them using our money? Their money, their decision, why we are acting like 'beygaani shaadi mein Abdullah deewana'?

Why Indians are dragging Pakistanis in a debate thats around presenting expensive cars for killing poor and no match 'enemies' ?

Comparing an expensive, top of the line luxury car with giving a piece of land to an army officer who lost his life in battle are two different things. A piece of land is not luxury but a necessity. I think the poster who disagreed pointed out to premium real estate that our army officers hold around the country. Thats another topic.

Here the Saudis, who first took up an operation without much thought it seems, have not been fighting very hard. To do the hard fighting they want us to do that job. Flying at thousands of feet above, using hi tech weapons and designators and watching destruction below on your display like a video game is not fighting.

After killing almost a thousand people, how did the Saudis declare victory is just beyond realm of reality. On top of that, rewarding fighter pilots is like rewarding for a blood sport.

I wish we dont drag our country into a war which is not ours and I hope Sharif family which is personally indebted to House of Saud does not compromise country over family.

If i have money i will give Bugattis to the families of all the brave Pakistani souls that sacrificed their life for their country- and Lambos and Ferraris to the Ghazis-
nothing wrong in that-

Only medals and promotions are rewards for military personnel.

Together with perks of-course. In Pakistan we give land that is in no way any cheaper than Bentleys.

Giving a piece of soil you fought for and giving a ridiculously expensive ultra luxury foreign automobile should be two different things.

Gifts are given as per giver's financial soundness. We have land to distribute, we do that. Saudis can afford to give off expensive cars, they do that. We are nobody to question how they want to use their money and reward their heroes.

There is a difference in losing your leg to a mine and bombing from 30K feet with negligible threat.

A rich father can gift his son a car only to bring passing marks in the exams, whereas a poor father could hardly buy his first class first son an OK quality pen. Things are relative and not static. We cannot and must not question how Saudis wish to reward their heroes, we can only and must question our government whether our heroes are adequately compensated or not.
