Being a woman in Pakistan

Buisness women..??
I wonder why u do not tell that to the Taliban. They prohibited women from working outside the home.

Also I would like to ask u how a woman can work outside the home when she can’t be in a room alone with a man and can’t travel alone without a male kin (mahram).
Muhammad discouraged women from going out of their home and in fact he said that it is better for them to pray in the privacy of their home (read prisons) than pray in the mosque.
In some Islamic countries women are not even allowed to drive a car. How they are supposed to go to work if they can’t even get there unless someone drives them to and from work?

Sir we are talking about Buisness women not the employees or the sports personality. Being in Business or being an entrepreneur is something different then doing a job.

straight from quranexplorer.com

2:227 Women who are divorced shall wait, keeping themselves apart, three (monthly) courses. And it is not lawful for them that they should conceal that which Allah hath created in their wombs if they are believers in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands would do better to take them back in that case if they desire a reconciliation. And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in kindness, and men are a degree above them. Allah is Mighty, Wise.

4:33) Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.

66:9Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.

33:49) O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war, and the daughters of thine uncle on the father's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the father's side, and the daughters of thine uncle on the mother's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the mother's side who emigrated with thee, and a believing woman if she give herself unto the Prophet and the Prophet desire to ask her in marriage - a privilege for thee only, not for the (rest of) believers - We are Aware of that which We enjoined upon them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess - that thou mayst be free from blame, for Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.

Allah’s Apostle said, “If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning.” Bukhari 4.54.450

It is hilarious to think that the angels have nothing better to do than sit around and curse the poor woman all the night for depriving them from watching the live porno show. If Allah must punish woman for not satisfying the sexual needs of their husbands why does he needs angels to lobby him for it? Isn’t it a waste of angel’s resources?

“Then I saw the (Hell) Fire, and I have never before, seen such a horrible sight as that, and I saw that the majority of its dwellers were women.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What is the reason for that?” He replied, “Because of their ungratefulness.” It was said. “Do they disbelieve in Allah (are they ungrateful to Allah)?” He replied, “They are not thankful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors done to them. Even if you do good to one of them all your life, when she seems some harshness from you, she will say, “I have never seen any good from you.’ ” Bukhari 7.62.125

The fun you are making of is holy book....I don't know what your religion is but tell me one comment making fun of Hinduism or Christians. The cherry picking tech is very old of you guys. i have lot to say about Geeta maa, Kali maa, Ram and his love story and Hunuman. But i wont cause i ain't like you. Before making such comments do contact an Islamic scholars who can give you a real deep answer which makes you understand the words written.

You know what many here can answer you the same way but no one is answering you in your tone because we don't waste our time in finding things from other religion and using cherry picking tech to defame or make fun of others religion.

Hey just a little data from this PR for the time being issued by US embassy

U.S. Assists Pakistani Women Entrepreneurs

April 9, 2010

Islamabad - In a ceremony held on Thursday, April 8, the United States recognized 20 Pakistani businesswomen who recently completed a two-day U.S.-sponsored training on the processes and benefits of formal exports. The event also honored supportive family members for the important contributions they make to the success of female-owned enterprises.

"Women are half of this country's strength, and any effort to enhance Pakistan's share in the global markets needs to recognize the inherent barriers women face and take steps to encourage their economic participation and entrepreneurship," U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Associate Mission Director Jim Barnhart said during the ceremony. "These programs are only the first of many U.S. government initiatives that will be launched in consultation with Pakistani organizations to support women in the marketplace and improve the economic health of the nation."

From March 25 to April 9, 2010, more than 100 women entrepreneurs from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP and FATA participated in training programs held in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. Due to high demand, with over 500 applications received, USAID will conduct another round of trainings in May and June. By June 2010, USAID will have trained nearly 350 current and potential women exporters across Pakistan.
