Beijing should not take military action against ISIS

you know what would make Beijing take military action is if we leave these rats alone so they can multiply and let them spread all across the the ME and Africa.

hundreds of billions of investment and getting most of your oil from the ME is going to put China in a predicament.
hell it'll throw the world economy into another recession, does China want that?
didn't China say they'll protect their national interests.

time to stop sitting in the back seat and actually show you are leader of the world politically/economically/militarily.

Isil is selling oil for cheap, why not buy it directly from them? What predicament?

I think the fundamental reason why China won't join the coalition is that the U.S. and China had bad memories in the past in dealing with Islamic fundamentalists. The U.S. would not categorize Chinese nationals captured in Afghanistan as terrorists, and instead called them freedom fighters, etc, etc. This stance really soured China's incentives to cooperate with the U.S. in global coalition. Plus, the U.S. houses quite a few Chinese Muslim separatists.

Such mistrust is hard to mend and I don't see China will have any enthusiasm to join the U.S. , which is really sad and detrimental to both the U.S. and China's fight against terrorism.

lol, you think Russia can substitute the amount of oil China get's from the Mid East and Africa o_O
come on now China is probably the one most to lose from this Middle East crisis.
it's a game of chicken, and if we are controlling ISIS more the reason for China to get involved.

to be honest, i dont know if we should invite China to such a coalition. For one, i thought we didnt want them to start exerting hard power across their border that far? If our leaders welcome them to take such actions, then our media will start bashing Obama/cameron, saying they are supporting an expansionist China.
WE should do the job ourselves. The U.S, Britain and France are more than enough to handle this rag tag islamists. We just need to get more involve and they will be eradicated in no time. Though we need to make sure we seek a political solution thereafter, which is necessary for longer peace and stability.

It's none of china business.

Chinese is not the overlord of the world, not the world police.
Not China manufacturing ISIL.
Who made it, who should be responsible .

Exactly.

We don't need to interfere with ones internal affairs half way across the globe. Instead we should focus on our own internal affairs and let the one who possesses some 11 carrier battle groups handle the mess they created.

.
I would only support sending troops, if US 1) let us go on their carrier and them on ours to help us conduct effective carrier warfare, 2) stop the weapons embargo and start selling us weapons worth hundreds of billions of dollars, 3) be a leader and let us learn from you guys in the ways of modern warfare.

Should be fair I mean the result of us sending troop is the possibility of dozens of men not be able to come back and billions used for the operations.

.
Think about what our military stands for. Precisely it's supposed to liberate our country and people when being attacked.
This whole mess is created by the US, at least the Americans should be the one sending troops dealing with ISIS. You reap what you sow.

ISIS mentality if spread in Chinese troubled regions will be a serious issue. China cant remain aloof from global development.

I'm sure China has evaluated the situations. ISIS is far from having any effect to China.

Not sure why the U.S. asked China to help fighting ISIS. It's funny to see Chinese military under the command of NATO.

The global player Vietnam should go first, while we are only regional power:omghaha:

Why do they need to burn their finger when people created mess and going to play and quench fire?
They will simply sit back, watch and reap fruits once available.

.
same for us
if and when the petrodollar is replaced you'll just see that. not our business anymore.

But it *is* your business. Dubya made sure of that when he invaded Iraq under false pretenses, overthrew the only source of stability for that country and counterweight to Iran, and left the place a mess, all at the cost of more American lives than were lost on 9/11.

Then Obama and Co. piled on with support of the ill-conceived Arab Spring that saw religious radicals take the reigns of power from their more secular predecessors throughout the whole region. So yeah, it's basically *all* the United States' fault. Due to lack of foresight, the US government wrecked a fragile regional equilibrium and now they're headed back again because the monster they helped create is lopping off the heads of children, Muslims, non-Muslims, and American journalists.

In other words, you don't get to take a dump in the sandbox and then chide others when they refuse to help you clean up your own turds.
