Beijing plans to ban coal use by end of 2020

This is very bad situation for us, after all Indonesia is one of the main supplier of coal for China and this decision will make the coal prices will not competitive anymore.

Don't worry, diversify your exports. I'm sure Japan will be taking larger orders as we are implementing clean coal energy as we speak.

Yeah but coal in itself is a bad thing isn't it,from mining to producing electricity every stage causes environmental damage

Yes, it is a non-renewable resource. So, it would be wise for any coal exporting nation to maintain exports at realistic rates. As for the environmental concerns, yes, you have a point. Especially with poor strategies to extract coal as in blast mining. This is why its important for coal exporting states to adopt safety standards in coal acquisition.

2013 China's annual generating capacity of 5.2451 trillion kwh, of which thermal power accounts for about 75%, and growing, the future thermal power decline, but the total amount of view, coal demand is still very large; and the transformation process needs a certain time, the article was that the surrounding Beijing.
So your worry is actually not necessary.

this is good news we need to protect the environment

Ur.... is the title a bit misleading?
Beijing ≠ China.

I believe this is a good move because, compared to a nuke power plant, coal plants are expensive to maintain and needs to be "fed" with coal just to produce electricity. It also pollutes the air and destroys the environment. I guess solar power, dams and wind turbines can complement nuke power plants when coal power plants are decommissioned and newer source of power are either found or developed.
