Beijing Olympics 2022: Discussion and Update

Automated kitchens using robot chefs o_O . Never thought they already have these types of kitchens running in China.

And some Indian shared western propaganda about German athletes complaining about treatment and food. Saying that Chinese may say they have covid and refuse them to play. Absolutely desperate these idiots now are. Even when China does nothing to them they already start forming what they will accuse China of.

What a cutie

Time is too short. I hate people wasting money wasting money, no matter whether $4 billion or $40 billion. Who will watch the games in the time like this? Chinese have too much money. There are too bad games. Greece went bankrupt.
China is rich. Greece is broke. The comparison is pointless.

If China spending on these games inspires a whole generation of winter sports enthusiasts, then that will mean greater industries in the future, more golds and healthier lifestyles.

I think his opinion is that spending money for sports is a waste. It is more relevant to pragmatism.

Maybe in his opinion, the investment of 4 billion USD into semiconductor industry, electronics, artificial intelligence, computer science...Using money to sponsor scientists and engineers, it offers more benefits for China, better than the import of foreign athletes.

It is a controversial perspective, because many people believe that spending money for sports is a better thing, because it brings a gold medal, and helps improve China's soft power

I agree that spending too much money on professional sport could be a waste. In my opinion major goal for professional sport and big events like Olympics should be to inspire people to have healthy lifestyle. To make kids do sport or at least go for a walk instead of playing computer games.

What a cutie

Indeed :)

No one really compares China to Greece.
To be honest, Apollon's usual absurd remarks just make me laugh, I don't care much. But recently, he even began to promote anti human Nazi thought, which has broken through the moral bottom line.
Such remarks should be severely punished in any forum!

These American trolls are working extra hours on PDF
he just like a most annoying parasite of the PDF.

There in Greece you have won a total of ZERO - 0 medals from the Winter Olympics for your entire history. Its save to say that Greece is totally irrelevant in terms of Winter sports and Greeks have no interest in it at all.
He don't represented all Greece. He just a paid troll from CIA.

For all our Pakistan friends, I thought the follow images of the opening ceremony when athletes from different countries entered the stadium was kind of fun... Notice that the girl who holds the country name sign for Pakistan was one of the most pretty ones, even prettier than the one who hold the China country sign. Do you agree? Whoever selected them must like Pakistan more than China :-)

This is why US State Department didn't want US athletes to bring own phones... Trying to control the narrative

"An Olympic Ski Jumper from Madison, Anna Hoffmann, says the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee provided new phones and numbers to athletes leaving for China."
