Beautiful Image of PN Flotilla at Karachi Dockyard.

Following are the images from the Royal Navy FASLANE Naval Base located in Scotland. I have been to this base and its a beautiful serene Fjord with breathtaking scenery. Notice that 'thread' like structure in the first photo? That is an Anti Terrorist Boat Barrier installed by the British Navy to protect the British and American/ NATO Nuclear Submarines generally parked at this port. The thread like structure is actually the Balloon like barrier in the second photo below. Greenpeace once tried to infiltrate the base on RHIB's to protest against the nuclear subs parked there, but their boat could not go past the installed barrier. That is the proper way to protect one's naval assets at harbor.

Its a very good and economical idea, i hope we can implement it ASAP to protect our precious and rare hardware.

Karachi Dockyard has always been the mainstay of Pakistan Navy. The bulk of our naval assets are stationed here due to Pakistan's main maritime trading route and two big sea ports. Below is a image taken from an Indian site, who seem to be very keen in keeping an eye on our Naval inventory.

The open display of our naval assets does give us joy and pride but i hope in the future our naval assets will be equally dispersed in other bases along the Makran coast and properly camouflaged.:pakistan::pakistan:
Can anyone tell why they are not patrolling?
