. . . .
Welcome. As with every part of the Arab world. Even a besieged area such as Gaza with the highest population density in the world (if I recall) is beautiful in its own right despite the many hardships and so are its people.
Really this area is like heaven on Earth and True blessed land by Allah Subhan tallah,
I only wish to visit this land as our ancestors used to visit all the Arab world Hijaz, Iraq and all the bilad e Sham and Yemen, free from any fear, Journey of the life time.

@Slav Defence

Can I please convince you to change the thread title to

Beautiful cities, nature, culture and people of besieged Palestine

and make this thread intended for showing the history, geography, cities, architecture, people etc. of blessed Palestine.

Many Muslims know about the conflict and hardships but I am not sure that many are familiar with Palestine as a country, land and people.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the thread brother, inshallah I will contribute to this once my break starts soon. Finally will have some time off starting this weekend.

I am looking forward to that brother. Palestine and Palestinians are a too great land and people for it to be ignored by the world. I am very happy that people from across the world, many non-Muslims even, have taken a great interest in Palestine and helped show the world the Palestinian perspective.

I have made earlier threads about Palestine, as you might recall, but sadly I cannot find them anymore. Remember covering the history of Al-Quds, Hebron, Betlehem etc. and the beautiful and ancient olive groves in the West Bank. As well as the pre-Islamic and Islamic history of the land.

I hope that some users can make a similar thread about Kashmir for instance. Or Chechnya.

Much appreciated.

PDF should make something similar with Kashmir. Make such a thread a sticky thread. Muslims not from Pakistan would this way gain a whole new perspective and knowledge about the people, land, its history, struggle etc. It is all a part of the same complicated mosaic, if you forget the people, land, history etc. it is hard to understand the political aspect of the conflicts/disputes. It also helps people relate to each other.

The reason why I have created threads about the history of the Arab world and related aspects is due to similar reasons and of course ignorance which we are all guilty of in small or big doses depending on the topic.

It is important to remember the civilizational aspect that ties many parts of the Muslim world together directly or indirectly. Many Muslims do not notice this on a daily basis but the more you dig into it, the more clear it becomes.

Especially if some powerful entities/people want to erase/rewrite the history like in the case of Palestine. That should be combated actively as it is a part of a dehumanization campaign that also affects other Arabs and Muslims.

Beautiful pictures brother, do you have a specific place where you find these? Palestine has quite a diverse geography, I wish I could visit these places some day. Unfortunately not allowed into West Bank or Israel.

Palestine is a legendary land blessed with much beauty in every way.

I just use Palestinian Twitter users and other Arab Twitter users and then I just venture on Arab forums that deal with photography, history and such stuff. That is how I often find material in regards to the Arab world.

For instance this:

https://twitter.com/PalestineSocial

Well, I pray that I will be able to visit before I die. Fell free to contribute anything related with Palestine, mosques, cities, cuisine, music, landscapes, agriculture, universities and schools, towns, villages, infrastructure, poetry etc, brother.

This is just a thread intended to show another, maybe unknown for many (at least I feel that way) side of Palestine.

I personally like the old pre-1947 photos of Palestine as well.

I had the privilege of visiting Al-Aqsa Masjid.

It was a mixed blessing. Because of the restrictions on the local Palestinians, we were able to spend unlimited time at Al-Aqsa with literally no crowds. We were able to see all the historical places within the complex and spent a lot of time looking at everything in detail. Felt sorry for the Palestinians who lived a few hundred feet away but could not visit the mosque.
