Do you know what Nazrul told about him?
Ever heard the original from Hemanta.
You will not be impressed. My entire range of favourites is in three clear sections: those Tagore songs of a relatively fast and rousing tempo; folk songs, especially Lalon Fakir's repertory; and Nazrul's rousing marching songs, which the Indian Army should be using instead of the terrible music that they currently use.
By the way, someone paid me rich compliments which I don't deserve; that was yesterday. So I posted "E Monihar Aamaye Nahin Shaaje"; I doubt that anyone would have 'got' it, except another Bangali, but that doesn't matter.

Jagannath college is quite famous. Writers like Premensra Mitro, Zahir Raihan were graduates from there. Do you have anyone from your extended family still living in BD? If you go to Barisal then be sure to visit Kuakata, okay?
Haven't been to Gendaria, but heard of Sadhana Aushadhalay. It could be still there. Come to BD and visit the places. It will be a nice trip.
