I was about to reply to your posts when I saw this post of yours...great..now let me try insert the idea behind abir's post into your brain which is the of size of your body....peanuts.

His posts was not about german shepherd and arabian horse in particular but just a refernce to your previous post why would you show an Indian cow in your beautiful Bangladesh thread....now you're gonna say that because thats how you call those cows in your local market..and bla bla ...ok i get it...

but a tiny, ugly bangledeshi Muslim , who doesnt even know the spelling of a religion he is trying to insult, is commenting on their IQ. seems you insects have seen too many bollywood movies to come to that conclusion.

How to go Monpura Island : Take teh Lonch (Tipu-5/Panama) from Sadarghat. The Lonch will start at 5 p.m and reach Monpura next morning (6 a.m). Fare is Tk. 200 (Deck), Tk. 800/1500 (cabin). You can explore Monopura with the help of Motorcycle runner

For centuries, fishermen in southern Bangladesh have been fishing in rivers and canals with the help of wild otters which they have trained to drive fish, crabs and prawns towards the net.
The otters have helped thousands of fishermen to survive in this region for many decades, but this rare tradition is in danger as rivers are drying up and the fish population is reducing.

How to Go :

From Khulna/Jessore, take a bus to Noapara (less than an hour and 30 taka) and get off NOapara bus stand. Cross the river with local country boat (Tk. 2 and 10 Minutes). Other side of the river, will see a bus stand, take the bus of Gobra village (Tk. 30, 45 Minutes). Get off Gobra and ask people about otter fishing. They will show the fisherman house. Bargain with them to show you such fishing and usually they agree to arrange 1 hour fishing for Taka 1000.

Butterfly Park located at Patenga, Chittagong Adjacent to Chittagong airport). To see different type of Butterflies, this place is best. If you have a plan to go Chittagong, allow some time for Butterfly park.

Chittagong ship breaking (ship demolition) yard is one of the largest ship demolition yard in the world. Here many companies buy the scrap Cruise and cargo ship and cut the steels and sells to steel companies with other staffs.

It is located at Kumira, Sitakunda area (Around 20 Miles fro Chittagong City). Take a tooktook and try to go inside any ship breaking yard though it may be difficult without help of any locals.Be aware about carrying any camera with you while you enter inside.

A danish couple are going to visit Tanguar haor (Haor : A big natural lake) from Sunamgonj city by such a rented motorbike.

Cummon! Sinni is a lot more than rice,milk & sugar! I think the rice is not boiled & is atop or gobindovog class(not sure,have to ask mom..lol)
And gur inplace of sugar is prefferd,and also fruits! Not to mention it is not a usual food item but is prepared during religious occurrences like Pujas and all(in West Bengal i mean).
Is it a regular in BD? Or prepared in religious gatherings only?

সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যান

সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যান বাংলাদেশের একটি প্রাকৃতিক উদ্যান। ১৯৭৪ খ্রিস্টাব্দের বন্যপ্রাণী সংরক্ষণ/সংশোধন আইনের বলে ২৪৩ হেক্টর এলাকা নিয়ে ২০০৫ খ্রিস্টাব্দে "সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যান" প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয়। এই উদ্যানে সাতটি পাহাড়ি ছড়া আছে, সেই থেকে এর নামকরণ সাতছড়ি । সাতছড়ির আগের নাম ছিলো "রঘুনন্দন হিল রিজার্ভ ফরেস্ট"।

সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যান হবিগঞ্জ জেলার চুনারুঘাট উপজেলার রঘুনন্দন পাহাড়ে অবস্থিত। বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে সড়ক পথে এর দূরত্ব ১৩০ কিলোমিটার। উদ্যানের কাছাকাছি ৯টি চা বাগান আছে। উদ্যানের পশ্চিম দিকে সাতছড়ি চা বাগান এবং পূর্ব দিকে চাকলাপুঞ্জি চা বাগান অবস্থিত। "নিসর্গ" নামের একটি এনজিও, বন বিভাগের পাশাপাশি, তাদের 'নিসর্গ সহায়তা প্রকল্প'-এর অধীনে এই জাতীয় উদ্যানের দায়িত্ব পালন করে। নিসর্গের তত্ত্বাবধানে বন সংরক্ষণ ছাড়াও, বনে ইকো-ট্যুর পরিচালিত হয়। এছাড়া নিসর্গ প্রকল্পের অধীনে বিভিন্ন সৌখিন দ্রব্যাদির বিক্রয় হয়ে থাকে



পর্যটকদের জন্য নিসর্গ কর্মসূচীর আওতায় ৩টি ট্রেইল/ পায়ে হাটার রাস্তা তৈরি করে দেয়া হয়েছে।

* আধা ঘন্টার ট্রেইল: ১ কি.মি দৈর্ঘ্যের এই ট্রেইল ধরে বনের মধ্যে অবস্হিত একমাত্র গ্রাম টিপরা পাড়াতে যাওয়া যায়।

* এক ঘন্টার ট্রেইল: বৈচিত্রময় বনের বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির প্রাণী/উদ্ভিদ দেখতে চাইলে এই ট্রেইল ধরে এগিয়ে যাওয়া উচিত।

* তিন ঘন্টার ট্রেইল: ৬ কি.মি দৈর্ঘ্যের এই ট্রেইল ধরে এগুলে পেয়ে যাবেন আগরের বন। পাখি প্রেমীদের জন্য এই ট্রেইল আদর্শ।

জাতীয় উদ্যানটি কয়েকটি চা বাগান, গ্রাম, শহর এবং চাষাবাদকৃত জমি দ্বারা নিবিড়ভাবে বেষ্টিত। উদ্যানটির কাছাকাছি ৯টি চা বাগান অবস্থিত। টিপরাপাড়া নামে একটি গ্রাম উদ্যানটির ভেতরে অবস্থিত। যেখানে ২৪টি আদিবাসী উপজাতি পরিবার বসবাস করে। আশপাশের চৌদ্দটি গ্রামের মানুষ, বিশেষ করে চা বাগানের শ্রমিক ও বনের মধ্যে বসবাসকারীরা বিভিন্নভাবে বনজ সম্পদের ওপর নির্ভরশীল। সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যানে রয়েছে ১৪৫ প্রজাতির গাছপালা ছাড়াও ১৯৭ প্রজাতির জীব। যার মধ্যে ১৪৯ প্রজাতির পাখি, ২৪ প্রজাতির স্তন্যপায়ী, ১৮ প্রজাতির সরীসৃপ এবং ৬ প্রজাতির উভচর প্রাণী। সাতছড়ি জাতীয় উদ্যানের উল্লুকগুলোর এক গাছ থেকে অন্য গাছে লাফালাফি এবং পোকামাকড়ের বিচিত্র ধরনের ঝিঁঝিঁ শব্দ পর্যটকদের মধ্যে দারুণ আনন্দ দেয়।



এ বনের ২৪ প্রজাতির স্তন্যপায়ী প্রাণীর মধ্যে উল্লুক, মেছোবাঘ, শুকুর, সাপ, মুখপোড়া হনুমান, চশমা হনুমান, লজ্জাবতী বানর, প্রভৃতি উল্লেখযোগ্য। ১৪৯ প্রজাতির পাখির মধ্যে ধনেশ, লাল মাথা ট্রগন এবং বিরল উদ্ভিদের মধ্যে বিষলতা, পিতরাজ, কানাইডিঙ্গা, আগর ইত্যাদি উল্লেখযোগ্য। ২০ প্রজাতির বন্যপ্রাণী বিলুপ্ত হতে চলছে। বিলুপ্ত প্রায় এসব প্রজাতির মধ্যে রয়েছে চিতা বাঘ, মেছো বাঘ, লজ্জাবতি বানর, মায়া হরিণ, উল্লুক, ময়না পাখি, ঘুঘু পাখি, টিয়া পাখি, ঈগল পাখিসহ উল্লেখযোগ্য বন্যপ্রাণী কালের আবর্তে হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

যেভাবে যাবেনঃ

সিলেট-ঢাকা মহাসড়কের মাধবপুর থানার সায়হাম চত্বরে এসে হাতের ডান দিকে মোড় নিয়ে পার্কে যেতে হবে। সড়কপথে ঢাকা থেকে ২.৫-৩ ঘন্টা লাগে। তথ্য কেন্দ্র থেকে গাইড পাবেন। ট্রেইল অনুযায়ী গাইড ফি যথাক্রমে ২০০-৫০০ টাকা। যদিও অফিস চত্বরে ম্যাপ দেয়া আছে, তবুও গাইড নেয়া উচিত। কারণ শুরুতে ট্রেইল বিষয়ে নির্দেশনা থাকলেও বনের মধ্যে কোথাও এই বিষয়ে নির্দেশনা দেয়া নেই। ফলে বনের মধ্যে পথ ভুল করার সম্ভাবনা রয়ে যায়। আসার পূর্বে রেঞ্জার জনাব মোঃ লিয়াকত আলী মোল্লা’র (মোবাঃ ০১১৯০৭৮৯১৭৬ ) সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন।
