BBC’s reporter undeterred, sticks to MQM revelations

Journalist Owen Bennet-Jones, who has created a political uproar in Pakistan with his revelations on MQM and India’s relations, claims his sources are authentic and he is standing by his every word.

In a brief interview to a Pakistani news channel, OBJ stated that it was against journalistic norms to disclose the sources.

OBJ refused to disclose the sources, and whether they were Pakistani or British.

“I am busy with my professional obligations,” he said.

On targeting the Muttahida, OBJ said it was not true. “In my book on Pakistan’s history, there are only two pages on the MQM. I have never targeted any party personally,” he said.

Regarding the authenticity of the news about recovery of a list of arms and ammunition from an office of the MQM in London during the money-laundering investigations, OBJ said it was true.

OBJ claimed that BBC is a very responsible organisation and will never carry out unauthenticated news.

If some one has watched Dr shahid masoods today's programe , he must have felt the guy was so self prising that he , used most of the programs time on telling chodri nisar & the heads of intelligence agencies of the country that he is the teacher , they all should come & should learn how to get a unfinished police report from a British police station , & use it as a proof to , ban & declare terrorist organization ?

It's really stupid , but it the duty of Pakistani intelligence agencies to bring and ask full cooperation from BBc , the metro police , British govt to provide the full investigation going on there ?
Also MQM needs to wakeup & must show what it is to its voters , why every then n now its been chosen as the soft target by federal govts in different times .
Also investigation must be done to all others , like NAWAZ SHARIF who are doing their bussines in INDIA ?
