"The fact is that 19 people have died in one of India's largest states. Somebody has to answer to their families. We are a democracy and the cost of protest cannot be death," a Hindu social activist in India.
Excuse my rhetorical questioning but does no Indian on pdf share this view, or do you remain silent, accepting these deaths as part of Modi's grand scheme for Hindustan? How would such deaths in HK be received by the world's media?
To Indian Muslims - please be under no illusions that the Western world will come and save you. Hitherto you were magical Indians, Bollywood, yoga, hijabis with purple ink on their thumbs on election day which apparently makes India and Hindus very very awesome and magical, democrassheee, and all that stomach churning excrement we have to endure out here. They loved that you called yourselves indian, unlike us terrible folk over the other side of the ceasefire line who dared to say sorry, no thanks, we won't live in a Hindu state. The west now sees you as Muslim scum, not Bollywood. You were living a fraudulent life, an illusion of sorts.
The coverage of the state led religious cleansing and obvious police and RSS citizen-led brutality is minimal and despite this situation on the ground clearly being akin to Nazi Germany in the 1930's, white people just don't care, or possibly even support it without saying so.
The police were interviewed in detail by the BBC. When questioned about media evidence being used to support the retaliatory "idf-style" home trashing, the punitive arrest of male householders, and other such glorious democratic methodologies of crowd control, the UP police simply said they used "digital evidence". Now when the question over the same standard of evidence being used to identify police deliberately targeting civilians with bullets and without any cause for self-defence was put to the same UP police official, his response was that such evidence cannot be used against police as it is "out of context". I'm not linking to this particular article because it is overall a biased heavily edited by sanghi sympathisers piece of nonsense that virtually blames unarmed civilians for police officers picking them off with live ammunition.
When such a thing happened in NI, it was called "bloody Sunday" and the British state has been under investigation ever since. It was widely accepted as a justification for inevitable IRA retaliation. When such a thing happened in Beijing the media called it the Tiananmen square "massacre" and analysed it from every angle imaginable, causing its discussion at the UN security council, ultimately forcing profound changes in Chinese politics and society in general. It happens today in Kashmir and Delhi - and Hindu Indian editorial boards write it off as a "violent protest" with "some heavy-handedness" in response.
You folks need to understand how the media works in terms of language. The editors mitigate, obfuscate, and redistribute blame as they see fit. They're not on your side unless and until they call a massacre out as a massacre. For now, they're just victim-blaming scum under the influence of partisan forces.
Meanwhile, what an amateurish bunch these Indians are. They're performing as per the most basic of scripts, performing a very simple eradication of Muslims. Yet how can they get away with such a basic plan?? It's simple really dear Indian Muslims - nobody will stop them.
This is basic nazi terror. It's not even cunning or clever.
The Western media will never call this a "massacre", which is what it now essentially has become. Indian Muslims must not allow themselves to fall for this illusion that somehow such brutality is normal and acceptable.
