Sunday Sep 18
Results of a latest poll conducted by Pew Research Center released on July 13, 2011 did not bring good news for Obama administration.
Obama administration’s image amongst most of countries in African, Middle East, South America and Asia has already reached the lowest point in American history due to its wars for greed and blind support for Israel. Now the Pew poll has sprinklered more salt on the Washington’s wounded ego.
According to the survey, 15 of 22 nations surveyed, the balance of opinion is that China either will replace or already has replaced the United States as the world’s leading superpower. This view is especially widespread in Western Europe, where at least six-in-ten in France (72%), Spain (67%), Britain (65%) and Germany (61%) see China overtaking the US. Over 27,000 people took part in the survey.
The countries which were covered by the survey included the US, Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Gaza and West Bank, Turkey, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Pakistan.
“Concerns about American power in the last decade have been supplanted by the view that American vitality is on the wane,” Kohut, president of the Pew Research Center, wrote in an op-ed published by the Wall Street Journal.
The US-based survey has some good news for Zionist mafia. It says that with exception of Pakistan, Indonesia and Russia – previously held favourable views about Islamic Republic have fallen. It stated that Iran’s popularity is waning among its neighboring countries –“significant majorities in Turkey (62 percent), Jordan (72 percent), Egypt (75 percent), Israel (92 percent), and Lebanon (59 percent) held unfavourable views of Iran, although in Lebanon, opinions split sharply along sectarian lines. Strikingly, the percentage of Egyptians with favourable views of Iran has fallen from 59 percent in 2006 to only 22 percent this year“.
