Why when Indians speak so highly of americans and white english do bbc say these things about incredible india

The irony is that the Indian economy has supposedly been progressing at 9% for a decade or so, the article is just over a year old, one would have expected poverty to have decreased to some extent.

Poverty gives birth to many type of social problems like crimes etc . if poverty is tackled then it will improve many aspects of social life .

I will say one thing, be it india, pakistan, BD.... Sub-continent suffering with poverty. It will be foolishness to point out on each other unless We reach 0% poverty. Better not make fun of poor people. We are educated, not illiterate so we must show maturity.

Isn't that true for any country in the world ? The top one million Chinese have more wealth(including equity stocks & other non liquid assets) than the next billion, likewise in US where a hundred thousand outnumber a hundred million in terms of their net worth !

The are multiple factors which attribute the to most number of poor in INDIA.
some of them being
1) Popolation - the poor are not educated and they do not realize the the more they give birth the more poor labours they are bringing to the world
2) Education - Every state says compulsary primary education until 8th standard, but non of the state rigorusly implements this.
3) Screwed up priority - Most of the educated Indians think about brining in forigne investment and domestic investment, but they do not realize that non of the invesments are aimed at alivating the poverty of the nation but is aimed at profit and making the rich richer.
4) Lack of Social Responsibility - Most of the educated and well settled people in India do not take a hike of their busy schedule to understand the real India and help the people who are poor beyond imagination.
5) The rich even feel disgusted to see a poor man with poor higean begging in the road.

And my friends the above things are happening every where. we humans are not living life but running a zoo where the strongest and rich pray on the poor and people who can not fight for themself.

If apoclypse is about to befall on us, I'll be the happiest man to live the earth as I know we humans do not deserve what we are given.

Eight Indian states account for more poor people than in the 26 poorest African countries combined, a new measure of global poverty has found.

The Indian states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, have 421 million "poor" people, the study found.

This is more than the 410 million poor in the poorest African countries, it said.
