What about Kashmir which is Pakistan occupied and Gilgit-Balistan. Also shaksgam valley gifted to China by Pakistan and China occupied Kashmir.
This is a headache of a situation we are ready to convert LOC to IB for the sake of Kashmiri people but Pakistan will never accept it.

LOL when you guys even don't have knowledge of something and giving your opinion. Pakistan support what other member said election under UN which is even resolution on Kashmir pending since 6 decades.

Can you please do something to slap these trolls with their nonsense of "Pakistan gifted this that to China". We have already explained several times and in multiple threads that Shaksgam Valley was never ever under Pakistan's control but under Chinese. In 1962 Pakistan and China agreed that Pakistan will back off from it's claims of that valley which it never actually controlled in the past and in return China will hand over a chunk of territory that it actually had controlled. So actually China gifted a chunk of territory and not Pakistan.

I think the best solution would be complete withdrawal of both Indian and Pakistani forces from the entire Kashmiri territory (Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan) and place it under UN mandate with the UN peacekeeping forces responsible for its security. Meanwhile a plebiscite would be held in Kashmir to allow them a right to self-determination. Whatever the Kashmiris decide will define their fate.

If they decide to become an independent state then the UN peacekeeping forces would remain there for a specific period (5 years) to ensure stability, training of military and civilian officials and peaceful formation of government and transition of power. Meanwhile, some well-known NGOs like BRAC would be in charge of social and economic development of the people.

Yup that is the only feasible solution. But remember Gilgit Baltistan have strong sentiments of getting constitutional rights in pakistan and joining it officially. GB army in 47 fought Dogra and Indian army and asked Pakistan forces to take over. Read history about GB to know more.

Neither did we swapped any land, Imran sirji. We just backed off from our claims of some land that was never controlled by us ever. And in return we got a chunk of land that was never in our control.

This "support to Palestine" thing in its current form is unsustainable as it is neither helping stop the suffering of the Palestinians nor gaining BD anything.

Boycotting Israel has made them more defiant. What I would like to see happening is BD along with some other Muslim nations engaging with Israel, when a left leaning government takes power there, and negotiating a conditional recognition of Israel in exchange of a peaceful, non-discriminatory environment for Palestinians in whatever way suits Israel.

Once this is achieved, BD should heavily collaborate with Israel in the fields of science, technology and defence.
