Indeed , if they can not do that , then the vacuum will be filled with any new party that hold the heritage of right wing politics ..But i hope BNP bring new leadership well they have to at this point.
And in future AL will either be replaced or will change their chetona policy that has started after 2001 Jamat BNP alliance .Because literary only less than 5 % Bangladeshi Muslim practice chetona cult and chetona cult is actually the invention of CPB .
As long as AL leaders understand the reality ( that their vote bank is not influenced by CPB chetona cult ) it's better for them . Otherwise after Hasina , they will be doomed too .
I respect your different opinion , but still I believe that if you want to introduce a solid democracy, if you want to call it democracy , they must have the chance as their fair share , because no one is bound to vote for secular parties only , so it's necessary to flourish human rights and freedom of speech . By suppressing religious politics and it's voice you can not establish democratic society where freedom of speech is predominant! So IMHO , everyone should have their fair share..Politics and religion should always remain separate.
But a moderate Muslim party should not use religious sentiment against the like minded parties using a specific cult like opportunist Islamic party , who prefer practicing hypocrisy over religious politics , and love to agitate people using their deceiving appearance and costume . So actually other than hypocrites ( Munafiq) , everyone should have their fair share in politics .
