Bangladeshis would rather swim to Italy than come to India, says outgoing envoy

What you refer to Indians screwing each other over was many sensible posters collectively responding against the xenophobia of two members. It was for unity against those that would divide us, no surprises who members from the other side of the line were rooting for.

Pretty entertaining for everyone I suppose, if thats to your taste, I personally prefer it when the pakistani members get into a brawl, a true free for all orgy.

It's always more entertaining when others do it, notwithstanding the mud on your own clothes.

Mud on our clothes or not, it is true these days that xenophobes are leading and controlling most narratives in India.

Educated reasonable Indians have let these xenophobes represent the views of all Indians.

The long-term repercussions of the spread of xenophobia (especially among the younger generation) in India is not good.

Except for a few, I hardly distinguish between diffrent Indian posters. Fundamentally, most of them entertain same ideas, as far as Pakistan is concerned; though their expressions and modes may vary.

I hardly read any of these posts. Only got a general feeling that an entertaining orgy is going on, between softcore and hardcore Sanghis and Bhakts.

I already knew it, but a good confirmation from you, that this feeling of entertainment is reciprocal.
It's more to do with the visceral nature inside of us compounded by the relationship between members of both sides.

A bit of schadenfreude is therapeutic, but to revel in it risks causing something permanent in the psyche, something that I try to avoid.

To risk painting all as bhakts or sanghis is to make the same mistake as painting all as jihadists or fanatics. If you could read what was being said, you'd find most were fighting against the very extremist mindset most of the Pakistani members abhor.

What's wrong, regardless of nationality must be opined against.

Extremism is something different.

In my view, Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and Savarkar, all were Hindutva followers, that is aspiring for absolute political domination of Hindus, in the subcontinent; but their methods, modes, scales and intensities differed. Their this collective aspiration lead to the foundation of idea of Pakistan. Consequently, now, for us, it is very difficult to distinguish and differentiate between these different shades of Hindutva.
