I think, our own Hindus suffer more because of this barbed wire fence. These people as well as Hindus from west Bengal used to cross the border to see relatives in times of Puja. These families are separated since 1947. Now, a fenced border has caused the end of this kind of temporary visits.

Authorities from both the govts. should discuss to solve this humanitarian problem. These people could be issued temporary visitors' pass by a certain govt authority for a certain period of time so that they can cross the border. A border is a man made apparatus that inhibits the bond between two people more when it is fenced with the barbed wire.

It is the opposite. It is Indians who come to BD, work here and send back $4 billion every year to a country that has that bio-metric identifications system. No BD Hindu wants ever to live in India except to go and visit their relatives during Puja or marriage ceremony.

Even the descendants of those who left BD after 1947 are coming back to their native country because there are more opportunities here than in the miser India with low income and low calorie intake. Do not please flatter yourself.
