Bangladeshi villagers saved Indian elephant in a dramatic rescue mission

Well maybe he will be taken into a zone where he can roam around to his wishes. Like the one in gazipur someone was talking about in here.

How big is the gazipur safari anyway? Its right near Dhaka rather than some outlying area on the fringes like CHT or sylhet greenery.

wild elephants roam around in India across forest ranges... may be India can give you a domesticated elephant to play with.. lol. wild elephants should be left in the wild.
We have 122 wild elephants that remain inside the forests of Chittagong. 80 more that moves to and fro between India and Bangladesh.

.
We also have natural sancturaries in or near Cox's Bazaar, Bandarban etc.

The BangaBahadur has become the shadow of a skeleton. It moved many hundred km of land without food, shelter or a place to sleep. I saw one of its front picture. Its two sides beside the eyes have lost muscles. Its right ear seems to me not intact. Wish its early recovery.

Wild forest is the best place no doubt. But, it has lost contact with its own herd. Another herd may attack and kill it. So, it better be decided by both BD and Indian wildlife officers about its future. But, a 1% possibility of danger in Assam should be properly thought about when making the final decision.
