Bangladeshi secular publisher hacked to death

These guys really should ditch the sinking ship and move to India, provided they don't eat beef and know what they were dong in 1984.

They are ready to give up their life for the country. They are trying to change their country. if they just wanted to live ina better place there are lots of other places not just India

Why does the Bangladeshi government keep claiming that all these murders - including that of foreigners is the work of the opposition? Do they actually believe that?
No, it's just a way to keep her political reputation in tact. Very counterproductive, this lack of honesty allows them to keep their activities on the go.

And provided they don't speak out idol worship, like that scholar who was shot 2 months ago.

Yes you are right, lining up to US embassy makes most sense in subcontinent.

No point trying to change the country when majority happily condone the killing and govt is unable or unwilling to protect them.

Whataboutry, favourite weapon to silence critics in india,

Silence the critics? They are very much vocal till date. Criticism is everyone's right and the critics are not above criticism, they should not be...

Unfortunate but expected they were mocking religion and hearting millions. If some of them take action in their hand you cannot blame them.

I have already seen in the previous threads that those murderers who are killing the writers, bloggers and publishers in Bangladesh on a regular basis share their radical ideology with most of the Bangladeshis in this forum, if this is the public opinion of most Bangladeshis in general, then maybe the state should start sanctioning such murders.

Speaking out against idol worship shouldn't be much of a problem considering that Hinduism is not a monolithic religion and even atheism is a part of the Hindu philosophy. The killing of M. M. Kalburgi was unfortunate, investigation is on and the killers will be caught. However, Hinduism is not the only religion he spoke against, and we are yet to know who killed him and why he was killed. And nothing justifies a murder, not even if Kalburgi talked about urinating on idols, or someone published a picture of prophet Muhammad, or wrote something criticizing any religion.

Didn't he receive heavy backlash from hardline Hindu groups? But, I digress, I do agree with you on your latter points.

He was a rationalist and an atheist, his opinion about religions antagonized many types of radical groups...but yes, it is also a possibility that he was killed by some Hindu radical group. Hopefully Karnataka government will be successful in arresting the perpetrators of this crime, even if they fail, we can be rest assured that they tried their best.

in pakistan you get jailed for writing against system, in india you return ur award, in bd you get killed.

it is said that murderers about 17- 19 years old

Most of the FB users are also 17-19 years. Their knowledge source is FB. They organize through fb. They do crime for and through fb. When they will be fully incorporated with this alien, crimes will reduce.
