Fashion industry is weird.

Non white faces are no longer exotic in the West. In fact United States and Canada are on the verge of becoming majority non-white in the next 20-30 years. Non whites are large minority in every Western European country including France. Non white artists are still discriminated in the entertainment industries there. Their representation is nowhere near the population percentage would suggest.

I think the reason we don't really see many beautiful girls for models and actresses is because girls from good families are not allowed to go into that profession. Anytime I go to a shopping centre, I spot many girls who can give these models run for their money. When I was getting married and met a few girls (through ghotok) I met quite a few far better than them.
