Though Mim liked the character, she rejected the role after reading the script; as it does not represent Bangladesh rightly

Noted actor and model, Bidya Sinha Mim, turned down a proposal to work in a Bollywood film 'Khufiya' as its script displayed incorrect representation of Bangladesh.
Mim received an email before Eid, to sign up for renowned director Vishal Bhardwaj's film 'Khufiya', said the actor to a local media. The film fell under the political genre.
The actor was happy for receiving the offer from the 'Maqbool', 'Kamine', 'Omkara' and 'Haidar' famed director Vishal. Though Mim liked the character, she rejected the role after reading the script; as it does not represent Bangladesh rightly.
"It's difficult to say no to a renowned director", said Mim.
The actor said she had to politely decline the offer as she felt the story has been formulated without knowing appropriate political history and other background information about Bangladesh.
"It was my first offer from Bollywood, but it's unfortunate that I couldn't accept the offer" she said, adding that, she hopes to receive a better offer in the future.
Currently, Mim is shooting for a film "Antorjal" and in talks with director Rayhan Rafi to sign up for a web film.

The lovely Bidya is one of the Bangladeshi actresses and models I admire. It is nice that she rejected the film offer by looking at the political and other discrepancies in it despite it being a project of the sensible Vishal Bhardwaj who directed the 2014 film Haider which is about the Kashmir issue and quite politically incorrect and was called an "anti-national" film by the ultranationalists and religio-nationalists in India.

But I hope Bidya does get to work in Indian films.

Not only Mim - but Mehzabien was also approached by Vishal Bhardwaj' casting people. These actresses know what a career-ender in Bangladesh is and what some actresses from Bangladesh have already experienced - such as Shomi Kaiser.

Why Mehazabien refuses to do a Bollywood movie

Entertainment Report :

Popular TV actress, model and Lux superstar Mehazabien Chowdhury recently refused a proposal to work in a Bollywood film titled Khufiya directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. She rejected the offer due to the inappropriate representation of Bangladesh in the script of the movie. Mehazabien said she was approached to join the Khufiya cast in July. But she humbly refused the offer to the movie’s casting director.

While clarifying why she said ‘no’ to the Bollywood movie Mehazabien said, “The casting director of Bollywood’s talented filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj contacted me in July. They informed me that they were looking for an actress from Bangladesh for the movie. They also sent me the script of the movie. After reading the synopsis of the plot, I realized this is a political genre movie. The story highlights some of the political issues in Bangladesh in a way that I personally did not like. As a citizen of Bangladesh, I did not want to get involved in such a film which doesn’t represent the country in an appropriate manner. If I really have to work in a Bollywood movie, I would rather choose a story that will positively represent Bangladesh.”

It was mentioned that earlier, the Khufiya director also offered Bangladesh’s popular actress, model and Lux superstar Bidya Sinha Mim for acting in the same movie. But she also rejected the offer for same reason. Mim said that after hearing the story, it seemed that Bangladesh would be presented in a negative way. That is why she rejected the offer.

It seems Vishal's movie themes are controversial all the time, here's one more,
