In a marriage (as well as in life - in general) trust and empathy plays a huge part.

If trust and empathy does not grow between two people, that marriage is doomed.

Tahsan's singing career has continued to flourish over the years (I'd say because of reasons other than sheer talent - not a fan myself) and reportedly he's got plenty of gold-digger women pursuing him, a situation which he appreciated as a man. In these situations, it will be hard for a self-respecting wife to stick around.
