Some new faces...
Looks meh, disappointedShirin Akhter (Sheila) is the new Bangladesh Miss Universe. Congrats. Crowned personally by Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. She is a Physics student at Dhaka University.
Sheila, a third-year student of physics at Dhaka University, will represent Bangladesh in the main event of 68th Miss Universe competition, to be held in the US this December. Bangladesh is going to participate in the competition for the first time ever.
Shirin Akhter Sheila was crowned in the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Bangladesh, at the grand finale held at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The winner was crowned by Indian actor and model Sushmita Sen, who herself won the title of Miss Universe in 1994. Speaking at the event, Sushmita said: "I am very glad to be a part of this momentous occasion. Tonight we make history. Do you want to know how? We make history because for the first time, a girl from Bangladesh will represent this beautiful country at Miss Universe competition. Twenty-five years ago, I represented India at that same competition, and my life was changed forever."

Looks meh, disappointed
I think Jessia Islam has a great face, symmetrical and attractive
Some are okay looking but I don’t see someone that spikes my interest. Need to look through the rest
She looks a bit like Aishwarya Rai. What's her name ??
And for good reason. I hope it doesn’t change. Even girls from old money family of Eastern Asia do not go into degrading profession like this. Well sorry to be judgemental, some may argue but Michael, you like Ukrainian girls who model, yes because they would rather work and be independent than sell themselves to sugardaddies, so offense to sugar babies but y’all are prostitutes, no offense to prototypes if it’s being forced upon you, ouch no offense to entrepreneurial prostitutes either, I’ve dug myself a huge holeI don't think even middle class families in Bangladesh (and the newly rich, previously lower middle class) allow their daughters to go into modeling profession (with some notable exceptions from 'Chetona'-tilted families)
Agreed, twat looking people often mix with good looking people just because of money or power, generations of ugly girls in bd is on the rise, however I see there are good looking Bengali guys, many indistinguishable from Arabs or European guys. I would go as far to say if ukraine is a treasure trove of beautiful women, Bangladesh is a treasure trove of handsome dudesAll you have as models are girls from lower middle class families with new money - who very rarely know how to present themselves as fashionable even if they had symmetrical looks. Pedigree and good breeding is a rarity (pardon my snob comments). It takes a LOT to know how to execute sophisticated poses and to avoid lacklustre strutting...
Lmao, Korean girls are hot bruhBangladeshi nouveau-rich will need a couple more generations to get there. The existing ultra-rich in Bangladesh don't live here anymore (Aziz Mohd. Bhai lives in Bangkok for example, ditto for other educated ultra-rich). One can get rich in one generation, but takes three generations of education and sophistication to change lifestyles (even if you can go to plastic surgeon and fix your 'tera-beka' looks like in S. Korea).
If judged other than with looks (enhanced or otherwise), all these women are probably unique in their inner beauties...and who are we to judge them this way? Only Allah can.
I’m from Bikrampur no I’m serious though, the last generation of beautiful woman in our family was my great grandfathers sister, whom a supposed king forcefully married after torturing my great grandfather, and because at that time we lost all our property and power and family far away, my GG had to get her married to that fag, my grandma was good looking but obviously not out blood, my aunts are ugly... (thanks to my short, black great grandma) Most men in our family are olive skinned/ brown, thanks to our GG who was fair/whitish and extremely tallBy the way Sushmita Sen's family is originally from Bikrampur (City of Courage - 20 km South of Dhaka) in Bangladesh, as are most of the higher Bengali Vaidya caste folks with 'Sen' surnames. They trace their ancestry from the Sen Dynasty in Eastern Bengal who defeated the Pala Emperors.
I agree but most Koreans were/are not happy with their original looks (competition for looks gone berserk), I expect the same thing to happen in Bangladesh at some point, this is already happening in China. Look at these before and after pictures following plastic surgery. Sad thing is - these people can be successful in hiding their looks but their offspring will still carry the genes...hopefully they can attract good looking boys...Lmao, Korean girls are hot bruh
Well, inner beauties aren’t judged but praised. I’ve had 5 examples of such women whom I either fell in love with or had a crush on, all were/ are way above my league, all I failed to continue with :/

True, I find it hard to believe but great grandfather was nearly 7ft tall according to my father and basically white!? Which leads me to believe he wasn’t a native, given hat we also have family in Pakistan to this day, no connection however.Well good luck - there are a lot of guys in Bangladesh above 6 ft. height or close to it. Nutrition and exercise helps build height and prevents nutrition-related dwarfism (lack of quality protein not fufilled by eating daal etc.) which is common in the lower classes in our neighbor countries on both sides. Average height of Koreans and Japanese increased at least two inches after their economies improved in the past fifty years.
OK here is one other no-name beauty. Doesn't look like she has plastic surgery - at least not a botched one.
Apart from the first girl, I think he rest look still clapped.I agree but most Koreans were/are not happy with their original looks (competition for looks gone berserk), I expect the same thing to happen in Bangladesh at some point, this is already happening in China.
