I don't think this will work out in Bangladesh's case. These scholars are the ones that wish to promote it.

Not all scholars think the same, I'm sure there's enough moderates with common sense to support a good initiative, but the key is bringing them to the forefront, rather than alienating that whole section of society, therefore having the extreme, anti-regime ones look like the majority.
