Once BD has sorted it's infrastructure and eliminated poverty, then expect a nationalist
government to build a powerful military that could invade the NE of India if required.

India will be made to behave by BD threat to dismember it.

The influence is far more permanent than you can imagine, and it will become constitutional with the eventuality of Bangladesh becoming a part of India.

NE India will supply massive land, agricultural and mineral resources.

It only has a population around 30 million and so will not adversely affect BD demographics.

I am not saying that BD should invade and annex NE but we should threaten to do so if India does not behave itself.

People did vote, democracy can't wait if more people in Bangladesh lacked the responsibility to come out and vote, democracy can't wait for one particular candidate unwilling to contest the election.

At some point each and every region of South Asia was independent state....Punjab, Rajasthan,Maharasthra, Bengal region, South Indian states...that's not the point the point is that there was Akhand Bharat and no Bangladesh in history
