Dhaka, Apr 16 (bdnews24.com) – Pro-BNP and Pro-Jamaat-e-Islami lawyers have demanded a provision for a regular appeal in the war crimes trial.

Otherwise, they suggested, the law would not ensure justice to those accused, at a seminar in Dhaka on Friday.

However, according to Section 21 of the Amendment to the International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, a party has the right to appeal to the Appellate Division against a sentence, conviction or acquittal within 60 days of the ruling.

Apeal provition is there but no scope to delay the justice by securing stay in the high court. Justice delayed justice denied.
No more deception... :D

so what type of action or result will come out

how will they stop Pakistan interference in BD mainly ISI role as they are trying to get back

how would BD Handel ISI supported groups

This is the best response of a keen observation that you've come up with? No, AWAMY thugs hardly practice Poly+ethics but completely non-ethics and no again, Bangladeshi people don't have appetite to align with Awamy rapist's ulterior motives to revive 39 yrs long, dry shyte. Finally, AWAMY malauns masketeer as politicians but they are robbers, dacoits and killers, thanks.

Shyts dries but it still stinks... Needs to clean those up..
Robbers decoits killers... what a desperate way of diverting forums attention. But everybody knows the true face of Rajakars...

The amusing part would be actually discovering that India armed and funded terrorist to create a pretext for unprovoked invasion of sovergien country. :D :D

If BD wants to investigate war crimes in full transparecy then the events need to be traced back to pre-serpration era as well India's role. If Bengalis were truly suppressed like they claim then west Pakistan should not have trusted them to serve in government and millitary but on the contanary there were very reputable Bengali members in Pak government as well talented pilots in PAF. Unlike Saudi Arabia where Shia are state persecuted and are never found employed in government jobs execpt menial ones.

The whole of Bangladesh story was a controvery stirred and planned by indian intelligence sevral years in advance and awami leauge prepared with such mindset. Something about the vision of Mujeeb must have raised red flags in west Pakistani millitary circles which refused to hand him power. Otherwise today there wont be any Pakistan left. Indira sure would have desire to liberate a lot of west pakistani ethinic groups and they planted enough political agents in the name of "mohajirs" among them. No pun for the geniune wave of Indian migran muslims who have integrated themselves into the society but there remain a groups of people trying to keep their "indian" identity and alligence alive by all means. And boast a similar sepratist agenda.

Awami leauge in east and MQM in west seems a recipe of indian intrests served well.

You people should truly resort to making "james bond" themed movies about ISI. Hamid Gul is up for a job if you wanna hire him as bond. Pakistan has come to peace with exisitence of Bangladesh and nobody has any nostalagia about united Pakistan. we even congratulate them on their national day without prejudice. Unlike India with its Akhand Bharat dreams.

We are talking about war time violation. No pre or post war politics. We dont have any problem with anybody who supported Pakistan in 1971 but we are putting those on trial who killed unarmed civilians.

Thanks

When was the last time in PAK era Bengalis asked for a referrendum for a separate Bangladesh? Wasn't it us, the Bengalis willingly voted for joining in PAK federation in 1946? On the contrary, Kashmiries weren't even given a chance to have a plebescite but their freedom fighters were named as terrorists whereas ours was Mukti Jhuddas? So, shouldn't we ask for after- death trial of Indira Ghandi for invading a sovereign country instead of sending Jamaaties in W PAK?

Although PAK was broken by 'Force and deception', Jamaaties of BD never showed any love left for it dispite showing unflinching patriotism in time and time whereas AWAMY Rapist-Malauns always ran away to didi's laps in Bharat Bhumi during testing time. So, Gaddar word seemed misplaced by you, no?

@ M_Saint and others, My question was neither to troll nor to offend some one. It is very simplistic question came after reading you people's discussion.

Bolded part of your comments does not give me a nice look of patriotism towards BanglaDesh. Are you not happy with separate BD?

Because he or his cohorts were involved in mass killing in 1971 staying back with Pakistani army or in good word riding Pakistinis shouldier.

'Appealing in international tribunal court' itself is a deceptive term here as there isn't any international defendents, who would be tried except Deshi Jamaaties plus a few righteous alikes. On a samilar note, a kangroo court could be masketerred/colored as international in 'Victor's justice'(Victor's justice - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) but denial of its justice is actually saving real justice and indeed quiet contrary of your expectation, Cheers:azn:

Stick to the topic and post this news to "AL terrrorism thread". That would be more appropriate.
