‘Deliberate obstruction of batsman’ in the final of the Asia Cup 2012

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has brought to the attention of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), event authority for Asia Cup, a possible case of ‘deliberate obstruction’ in the final of the Asia Cup 2012 between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Dhaka on 22 March 2012.

The BCB is of the opinion that Pakistan fast bowler Aizaz Cheema had obstructed Bangladesh batsman Mahmudullah as he turned for a second run at the non-striker’s end off the first ball of the final over of the match. This could amount to an infringement under Law 42.5 of the Laws of Cricket.

The BCB’s initiative concentrates on upholding the spirit of the game, ensuring fairness and to prevent action which may bring the game into disrepute and is not intended to target any individual player or team.

Five fingers are not same.
Majority of Bangladesh also like Pakistanis.
Anyway Bangladesh board have every right what they feel wrong, they can go to ICC.
Bangladesh cricketers also do like Pakistani players.
We also do like Bangladeshis.
Even majority of people around the world feels that this is wrong step taken by Bangladesh board but this doesn't means that all Bangladeshis are against Pakistan.
Bangladesh have never won Asia cup, that's why their board is so desperate to win at any cost.
We must also understand that their board is attached with their country politics.
Players are not culprit.
There is also big support in Bangladesh for Pakistanis as proved in World cup matches. i.e Pakistan V Srilanka in which we saw full crowd supporting Pakistan. Also recently match b/w India V Pakistan, We saw support for both sides .
