Bangladesh permits India to withdraw water from Feni river

Even then it won’t work, primarily because Hasina said she won’t be contesting the next election
But, I really heard she wants to live until 2041, under what process I do not know. Do you want us to become motherless only in 2021? Do not make people cry, please!! She will certainly contest the election because she is dedicated to the well-being of poor BD people and the people will force her to contest.

They will send a petition with 10 million signatures, wait for the right time.

You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t

People that wildly emotionally swing from big boastful and demeaning talk all the way down to waaah-whine eternal ingrate victimhood crying... with nothing in between to temper in slightest... deserve the fate of nuanced reality check and eternal bitter harvest.

I'd advise you to stay out of this....if you truly don't know or simply feign ignorance regarding the context of cretins like that one.

There's a special saying...Fight fire with fire. In this case you are a man, but you sound like a child.
You would excel in poetry, extensive vocabulary and all..

No one cares about such sayings in the end.

In the end all that matters is the reality, and its a good thing exactly what you lot are in the end catches up with your silly fake ego. The tears are delicious. The ones that can be seen in BD fans when they (nearly always) lose at cricket are just a small 1% sampler of it lol.

If I had said the same thing what you said I am sure you would have raised objection. :disagree:

Well ppl can be ironic/sarcastic/criticizing for their own country.

A foreigner does it, starts to become cringy to lot of ppl. A somewhat more general thing for every scenario.

It is why I say to everyone (Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Westerners, ASEAN, middle easterners etc) that is having to deal with some waaaah issue from typical BD tantrum types.....just step back, wait, be patient....rather than posing somewhat easy target for their cry-mobs to unite on.

Its best for BD ppl to learn some stuff the more direct way and let them vent on themselves. They are most humorous to watch at that moment.

They truly think they are going to get rid of BAL and Haseena too in the next "cycle". Just watch that drama long term too, and enjoy it. No need to get too involved, BD attitude on foreigners come from a funny deep void they have inside them.

The Hindu nationalists will not want outright annexation, but yes they want Bangladesh in a vassal state. Land access, hatred for Pakistan, water rights and the demands will continue to increase. Bangladesh needs an effective balance to India, and should concentrate heavily on diplomatically engaging China or the US. Haseens foreign policy engagement is however akin to our Nawaz Sharif i.e. disastrous.
Finally a sane post in this insane thread! However we will not allow them to fulfill their dreams. I don't know what's going inside curtain, but I am sure Bangladesh armed forces will not let India become successful.

And also we are not going to make any defense pact with India. However I expected teesta treaty, so I am very much disappointed.

BTW, in next fives years I hope some new strong political parties will form. As long as they will get some ground, the reckless behavior of AL will be bridled.

@Al-zakir It's my answer to your question too!

Where is @Atlas now a days. I want to know what’s in his mind?

Lol. That actually makes a lot of sense. I am tired of arguing with hoards of Patriotic people anyways.

I hope the patriotic and brave people of Bd won't let that happen.

I really wonder how the patriotic people of Bd tolerate such an undignified slave as their ruler.

Patriotic?!:rofl::rofl: That Patriotism shit doesn't work here anymore. Most of us are dalal/corrupted/incompetent/selfish. The very few who care about this wretched, rotten country are mostly students and they face consequence for raising their voice.

So bd is giving some water to india why it is bad thing? We still get lot more water from them. Just curious why people are upset over this?

Did she resolve Teesta issue or Farakka issue? Does Bangladesh get the amount of water it deserved from 50+ rivers between two countries? Their dam filled our side of the river with silt, turning it into dessert during dry season. And you say they give us lot water? How? This way? By opening all the gates when their areas get affected by flood?

Hasina will be dead if she tries shit like that. Certainly if she tries to rig next election

Nothing will happen to her. She already did it two times successfully. People are loosing interest to vote. Check the amount of voters in all recent elections. What can they do really? They are just sheep and the wolfs will devour them if they try to make a fuss about anything. And politicians say a lots of things. Doesn't mean they do everything they say.

Gangadesh under the extremist Hindu will be more and more hegemonist and suppress smaller countries as much as they allow it. Millions of Muslims in WB and Assam have already lost their citizenships so Gangadesh will try to push them into Bd. With the current govt in place, you should be ready to welcome those millions of refugees and you will forget the problem of Rohingya.

The rohingya issue is already a lost cause.

People in Bangladesh are more concerned with India and Kashmir than Myanmar or the Rohingyas. There are millions of people in Bangladesh who even don't know where Myanmar is or who are the Rohingyas and this is an advantage for Myanmar. You will find more Bangladeshis supporting any anti Indian moves than the the oppressed Rohingyas.

Myanmar is a cunning nation I must say. They played well and smartly.

a wise nation (who can distinguish between a friend and a backstabbing aasteen ka saanp)!
Yes. Listen Bangladeshis are humble people. However in foreign relations humbleness doesn't work. "Friendship to all hatred for none" is a bullshit foreign policy.

Myanmar is a Indian ally, yet they buy more weapons from Pakistan than India. India offered Tejas to Myanmar but instead they bought Pakistan's JF 17, both block 1 and 2.

that is what I said: Burmese are a wise people and loyal to their friends (like the Chinese are) yet ruthless with traitors (again like the Chinese are). I admire them both.

"Friendship to all hatred for none" is a good motto with one condition/caveat/proviso; hate no one but if some one is trying to back stab you, you erase him until nothing of him is left

them being allied with india is same as Pakistan being allied with NATO (at the point of a gun; be my ally or else)

I believe Pakistan, Myanmar and North Korea should stay as close allies of China. These countries have proved that they are bad *** and damn caring nations. These type of nations are required to survive in this ruthless and unfriendly world.

What India does with water is beyond our control. But, whatever water we get from the 50+ rivers goes straight to the BoB during the dry season also. We are unable to systemize its use for agriculture and spend millions of dollars to pump up underground water.

Why should it be like this when we shout of the shortage of water? By the way, a 1.82 cubic feet per second of water is only (1.82 ft x 1.0 ft x 1.0 ft) per second. In comparison, the Teesta flow was 5,000 cusec last dry season (usually it is 1,000 cusec though).

The generosity level of BD population should not be that low. Why are you guys creating tempest in a tiny teacup that can contain only 1.82 cft of water?
