Great, but they are millions of them and majority will have to be accomodated in BD. Can your country do that?

There are around 2 million Rohingyas in total, with 1 million in Myanmar before this incident. With 350,000 having fled to BD then that leaves around 700,000 still in Mynamar.

BD has already been hosting around 500,000 Rohingyas and so another 350,000 of them will not materially affect the economic growth of BD, as BD itself is a nation of 160 million and so this is really a small drop in the ocean of total population residing in BD.

Indian Hindus may be evil but they will not stoop so low as to commit genocide on Rohingyas as the Myanmarese Buddhists are doing now.

Can you remember that the Indians in this forum were jumping up and down with glee at the though of Narendra Modi forcing BD to accept millions of Muslim Indians which they have labelled illegal BD'shis? Still waiting for some action on this.

Well appreciate what they are doing..but to be precise India has more Rohingyas than Turkey or even Malaysia and Indonesia.

Malaysia recently declared they will give shelter to any Rohingya manage to reach it's shore.

Aside from Bangladesh its only Turkey and Malaysia who are Helping

Pakistan has 350,000 and still house millions of Afghan refugees for nearly 40 years. Bangladesh is the closest country for the Rohingya to seek refuge. However the OIC should help the refugees as it is a combined effort.

I was talking about that 1 million precisely, who will be pushed out of Myanmar. If BD is capable of hosting such a big numbers , than its good, I don't have say in this matter. I will never want a single rohingya in my country though.
The reason why i posted in this thread is that I felt it is unfair on BD to handle this crisis alone while rest of the muslim world will only host very few of them and donate some food and few million dollars.
Myanmar will probably never take them back and it won`t be long before the "bumiputra" rage kicks in the Malaysia and deport the rest of them to BD.
BD is doing a commandable job and worthy of all praise it has received but truth is that no one really wants the rohingyas and they will stay in BD forever.

If that ever happens India will probably annex Nepal or atleast the terai region where madhesis are in majority.

150,000 Rohingya given legal status in Malaysia. The only country in that senses. So dont lecture malaysia.

There are only 59k Rohingyas in Malaysia. Others are just Refugees who taken refuge since decades due to military rules. Malaysia chased away boat people after providing them biscuits and water at mid sea. Developed countries would rarely risk large number of refugees in fear of economy. India has around 40k Rohingyas and we actually negotiated for their peaceful return when the time is right.

Giving some money is fine. But would Malyasia take Rohingyas? Same apply to Turkey. Now with so many refugees, BD is in deep trouble for many, many years to come. It may even effect it's economic growth.

Rohingyas total count is 2m inside Myanmar. Even if Burma expels everyone 2m can be taken care. During the height of liberation war in 1971 we hosted nearly 10m refugees, the highest number hosted by any country at any time. After the war the some of the Bengali Hindus and Muslims refused to go back and they got citizenship. Bengali population in Assam skyrocketed after the war and lots stayed in WB. Estimates say that around 2-3m stayed in India and later got citizenship.
