India will shortly ask Mustafa to teach its officers how to fabricate GDP data. India has many mills and factories that produce many value-added goods.

How about BD? What manufacturing base does it have? Almost zero. So, Mustafa will teach India how to raise the GDP figures to $10 trillion.

If it was not for the turd Modi banning exports of the UK AstraZeneca jab in March 2021 then BD would have got through with less than 100,000 excess deaths.

She is a well educated and genuinly patriotic person, no doubt. You can like or hate Awami League but Hasina as a leader of Bangladesh has been quite competent. There are solid numbers to prove it.

30 years ago naysayers like you used to say people in Bangladesh can't progress cause they are not white, or not smart like Japanese or Korean, or don't have any natural resource like oil as the countries in Middle East.

30 years later they were proved wrong. Hard work by entrepreneurs and hard work by the Young females of Bangladesh did the job.

Once again I'm hearing naysayers saying like Bangladesh can't progress further cause they don't get enough FDI or they don't have heavy industries.
Getting ahead of the neighbors did not take much FDI or heavy industries.
As before resolve of the willing participants will carry the day.
You cannot spoon feed success.

Over the last 1-2 years most Pakistani and Indian poster have fully accepted BD’s status as the strongest economy in S Asia.

They know that IMF, ADB and World Bank will not publish data from BD government if it was not reliable.

Ones still holding out are the type that will say milk is black as it does not fit with their narrative.

Bangladesh is not much ahead of the neighbors, it is still in the realm of pot calling the kettle black.
They're just so much more to do where moving forward should be the goal. However it doesn't hurt every once in a while to look around to get your bearings in the neighborhood.

I try not to engage these folks, but then again it is a lazy weekend for me !

What progress is that? You mean selling cheap underwear? Yes i agree on that. And low labour migrants in middle east. 30 years ago it was same. Remittance and low value garments now its the same. Hence bd is nothing like east asia.

Why do you spew nonsense in all your posts and all the time? You must first thank America for supplying millions of doses of covid vaccines to BD. And the situation may reverse any time such as it happened in China.
