BD is not relying on just these two helicopters to take care of Myanmar 1980s kilo sub.

The figate BNS Bangabandhu has a full ASW suite with Torpedos, it has other ships like the two Durjoy class fitted as ASW type and also the two modernised Type-035G that are better than the Kilo you sold Myanmar.

BN is more than capable of sending that lone Myanmar sub to the bottom of the Bay of Bengal if required.

In the Chinese inventory, equivalent of Kilo class is Type 039 Yuan not Ming class.

The gap between BN and MN was somewhat wide in 2010. But everything has changed since then and the tide has already turn.

Modernization of BN is just platform centric. You acquired dozens of platforms but unfortunately 85% of hardwares turn out to be second hands.

Other than the platforms, there are no improvements in other areas from ship buildings to navy aviation.

In 2010, MN had only 2 corvettes, but now MN has 1 submarine, 1 LPD, 5 Frigates, 3 Corvettes and 20 FAC missiles.

MN frigates and corvettes carry S 100 camcopter with EOD payloads which enables the OHT capabilities.

A maritime strike squadron of JF 17 with C 802AK was already raised.

A pair of ATR 42 MPA is also patrolling the EEZ.

A number of land based costal defence anti ship missile batteries with Kh 35 and C 801 A were raised in Rakhine coast and CoCo islands.

MN ship building capacity is also increasing.

I don’t want to mention a number of upcoming acquisitions.

So by 2030, MN will even grow bigger.

On the other hand BN will have to retire both submarines and 75% of frigates by 2030.

If you don’t find any decent replacements in time, even the Sri Lanka Navy will overtake BN.

Current BN is not balanced and decent.

BD President publicly confirms that 6 next-gen frigates will be ordered soon.

BD has economy five times as large as Myanmar and gap the grows as sanction are biting on Myanmar.

Myanmar's Chinese daddy is fully on the defensive over coronavirus and BD will take full advantage of this new reality.

BA already turns a blind eye to Arakhan Army shipping weapons into Arakhan through CHT and more will follow as the time comes.

Please stop this embarrassing fantasising about your bankrupt country.

As per above article only Bangabandhu is serious threat to submarines due its ASW capabilities but you have right now only 1 such warship.... do you think it will be easy for BN to find out Kilo in huge bay of Bengal with just one such ship??? I hope you are not joking....

You are getting other ASW assets but now that will take time due to Corona.... till then Myanmar navy will not sit idle either.....

BN is dropping 1.2 billion on submarine base alone. The main base is still under construction
Naval aviation expansion is ongoing
Frigate building will commence once CDDL dockyard work is complete
Other corvette, patrol craft and miscellaneous vessels project are ongoing currently
Ming is being refitted again (although details are not clear) its last refit from China said to have include missile launch capability from torpedo tubes.
More submarine acquisition is to happen but China is not a clear winner in that regard
As for frigates incorporated, these will easily last long enough before the new frigates enters service
SWADS is being expanded from its starting numbers of 2000
Worry about your in-house design surviving sea state 2 before they ever coming into Bangladesh territory for war.
