Will the Patualkhali base hold the Naval strike squadron??And will that be operated by airforce or will it be Naval aviation wing?

Do not know but there is a plan of 1 squadron of dedicated maritime striking aircrafts, besides Navy also increasing its patrol and SAR+anti-sub aircrafts inventory
As far as i know total 4 patrol aircrafts+ 15 helicopters will be in BN inventory by 2020.

Bangladesh navy has already procured two off the shelf Type 53H2 from China. The ships will receive a 76mm main gun, 2x4 C-802A AShM, 1x8 FM-90FM SAM, 2x type 730 CIWS, 2x3 Whitehead ASW torpedo and 2x6 ASW rocket launchers. After these upgrades, the ship will be deployed in Bay of Bengal.

Aside these, a Hamilton class Frigate will reach Bangladeshi shore by December 31 2013.

I did hear about the Jarvis acquisition before but isn't the Hamilton class meant for coast guard operations..will it be refitted with latest equipment?

yes it will be heavily refitted. It will have same armament as upcoming Refitted Type053H2 frigate from china.

^^^I think its a smart choice by Bangladesh by not investing extra money on a old generation frigate (F-22B )instead most probably save money for new generation of frigate from China . it would be great choice if Bangladesh navy buy the latest F-54A/F-54B stealth frigate from china .this frigate would be more potential in 21st century .

Trainer Sub is only for training, we can buy decommissioned Sub for this purpose. And, operational Sub is fully combat ready sub.

there is nothing called training sub, decommissioned sub are not called training sub. All subs are fully combat ready, only differ is fire power.

You did not get me bro. I mean we should buy decommissioned sub like chinese ming class and
use them as training sub.

And we should go for German Sub for operational use.
