Indian companies showed interest? Wonder which frigate we are offering.
So your adversary nation wants to arm you? Sounds counter productiveNo benefit of showing interest you can be sure your company not getting the contract . as this frigates ate for guarding our naval interest from Myanmar and India mainly .

Yeah I get Bangladesh only sees threat from India and Myanmar and hence is reluctant to make any defence related dependency. But we have seen some recent news of patrol boats for surveillance being exported to BDNo idea why India even bothered as they have zero chance of even selling a bullet to BD.
Weird to say the least.

Who knows maybe we will see a shift in this policy, our shipyards can be hopeful.
Frigates though, yeah even I think slim chance but just curious to know what was offered.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shivalik-class_frigate Shivalik class? Though I think they are too big for bd navy policy and geared towards India specific needs.

6200 tonnes are a tad bit on the bulkier sides for a frigate no? Mostly to carry brahmos cruise missiles, 32 cell vls and 2 helicopters. Milgem is 3000 tonnes with smaller cell vls and 1 helicopter.Eh maybe it was the Shivalik class , it isn't really too big for BDs need lol , next option idk would be like the Godavari class frigates

Turkish frigate with 16 VLS cells that are capable of holding up to 64 MRSAMs.

India what/?????Indian companies showed interest? Wonder which frigate we are offering.
These aren't bad on paper, although they don't fit our requirements..
But Bangladesh won't buy anything significant for India..
It's counterproductive.
Did you mean that India want to arm us? And also puzzled that how can adversary nation wants to arm us? Let me explain. So your adversary nation wants to arm you? Sounds counter productive
Only from India. Myanmar doesn't want to sale any arms to us!Yeah I get Bangladesh only sees threat from India and Myanmar
ভাইরে, গাধার শিং গজাবে, তবে ভারত থেকে যুদ্ধ জাহাজ আসবে না ইনশাল্লাহ।I swear - if I hear that these frigates are being made in India, then we have had permanently traded our sovereignty for being permanent dhoti wearing Muslims.
I will renounce my Bangladesh citizenship and Passport for good and stop posting here on PDF.
I am sure that is all PDF Sanghi trolls want.
