Sure but to us, West Pakistan = Punjab (as Punjabis are the main ethnic group.)

You have your own country now, free from domination. May be it is time for you to let go of past hate and accept the non-Bengali Bangladeshis as equal brothers. The more you hate them, the more they will hate you back and your country will be open to foreign intervention to exploit this hatred.

They don't affect the lives of average Bangladeshi's.. We never think about them either..


I have never even seen a Bihari in Bangladesh myself, that said I from Chittagong and not Dhaka where Biharis are based.



Besides, we never hated them, they hate us for ruling over them during the time of Bengal sultanate..

We are indifferent to them so long as they don't mock our culture (which is their passtime even in India).

I understand that Bihari community in BD supported the losing side in '71 war, but now they are in BD and Pak is not taking them.

So, BD govt better make use of this human resource and accept them as equal BD citizens. This will go a long way in bolstering BD's human rights image when it makes it case for Rohingya refugees to the world.

There was no decent alternative to BJP in 2014, as Congress was mired deep in corruption. And BJP in 2014 displayed a lot of moderation. It has increasingly gone brazen now that the opposition is weak.
