How can 1 guy sell a temple? Every temple is owned by a freaking commitee, even in 1975

Thats not a functional temple in the 1st place as it was a ruin.

Secondly the man chowdhury acknowledged the dealings of his cousin the way he registered the land to the person for unable to pay the debt n left the country.

Why they were remain quite at that time???

We are still not sure whether it is 500 year old tample in reality. If it is really so it would have become a historical place at the 1st place.

2nd how you have lost your land!!! If it is part of land grabbing it is a very common phenomena in Bangladesh. In villages these sort of activity happen mostly. But in big cities also. One of my aunt's father owned and still own a big chunk of land in Panthapath but they stayed most of their time outside. But in between the time a group of people made some fake document and claimed the land. As most of my aunt's family member live outside they are likely to loose the land.

This has nothing to do whether anyone is hindu or muslim.

But my grandfather was cheated by a hindu back in 1971 when by trusting him my grand father bought the biggest market of our home district with all of his savings without proper paper work during the war. That hindu man said he will never back to Bangladesh. But after the war he again came back and sold the property again and then went to India again. N these sort of activity happened a lot during that day n this incident is one of such example.

1. Dude, a portion of Lalbagh in dhaka is illegally occupied, even though its a place of historical value. Paharpur is one of our oldest historical sites but people are constructing illegal things there

2. The second para explains what i think of this incident. Its a land grabbing plot. The guy is just trying to grab the temple land

3. And a lot of the hindus in my district became landless after the war cos people from other regions grabbed their land when they went into hiding. They forged all kinds of documents and took all their lands. The incident that happened with your grandfather is regrettable. But that does not mean you can go about blaming the hindus for it.

The article clearly states that it was a ruin temple. But it is not clear when this demolition took place as the accused person said the following...

Mohammad Sufi Mian, a member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, said the 1.33 acre plot of land where the temple stood was purchased by his father in 1975.

“My father bought this land long ago. No one said anything when we broke down the already ruined temple. Now some people are conspiring against me,” he said.

There is nothing fishy, many people buy properties and do development many years after purchase.
Question you should be asking why Hindus did not use the temple since 1975? They knew it was sold why they did not protest when land was sold? Obvios answer to these questions expose ill motive of these fake hue and cry.

Many if not all in Hindu community today try to look down on majority population because of Awami anti Islamic stand and indian interference. We have seen how Hindu teachers were attacking Islam and our Phrophet (PBUH). None in hindu community stood up and said those were wrong.

On the matter of this land, this is pure case of Hindus sold their land moved to india and now they want land back in name of "temple". But did not care about or use the temple for who knows how many hundred years. They did not even protest when owner sold it.

I have seen Hindus done it in our village, they sold their properties and came back in opportune time to reclaim and cheat the owner. And time of Awami rgime seems to be fitting for their agenda.

Thanks for clarifying my points. I was trying to say the same thing. It has nothing to do between hindu and muslims. This is a pure case of cheating. Just a reclaiming strategy by mentioning the ruin temple.

Can any one say me whether ruin temple property sell fall in the category of the law.

They were afraid to disclose the names to the media cos of fear, that will already tell you how the hindus of that area felt when mian first broke down the temple.

Dude, how many times must i tell you only a commitee can decide whether to hand over a temple. The mian guy, if he is innocent, might have thought that he can get it by just dealing with chowdhury's cousin.
