I have mixed feelings. Al Badr militias were responsible for targetted killings of un-armed pro-freedom intellectuals such as doctors, teachers and writers.

As the head of the org - I support his death sentence.

On the other hand - this trial is farce with made up witnesses and Govt. influenced Judge. and as a minister he was successful and very strict to corruptions.

in short - good man but ended up in the losing side of the war.

Al badr and rajakar all were made by govt order and initiative here a 28 year old student leader can't lead the whole badr force though Jamat supported united Pakistan and support forming rajakar force for safe guarding state property . and about the verdict there are many contradiction in witness that the verdict should different if the court were impartial .

Im not a supporter of jamaat. But I tell you we are not getting anything from these by weakening jamaat sect.
We could maybe use this fraction to control extremism in this country. If you are saying we can live in peace by killing some perpetrators. That can instigate more violence in the country. We are now suffering from jmb, hijbut tahrir and other terrorists.
I dont support Islamic rule but to live peacefully in an Islamic country we need strong presence of Islamic parties.
Without them deflecting people will create much trouble for the country. Now there are dangerous Hindutva and Buddhist gov running our neighboring countries. To counter them properly we need some counter balance. See how Indians having fun, because we are getting weaker and they are enjoying it.
