I ve mentioned on other thread, about Indians would like to stick with the ramayan era's pride (BSF related barbaric topics).
Perhaps you could make it clear what that, whatever it means, has to do with this.
We dont accept the old names existed during pakistan/british-raj.
Noted. I presume Dhaka, Chittagong and Barisal, for instance, are also under revision. Or are you referring to those names that started only in "British-raj"? Or only in "Pakistan"?
It is clear that there is some effort at identity definition going on, but of what sort is less clear. Whatever it is, good luck to you. What you do with and to your country, as it is today, is entirely, without any quibble, your business, as long as the repercussions do not have to be faced by others.
Similarly my heritage and that of millions like I, is my business and none of yours. If I say I come from east Bengal, it cannot concern you, since the entity doesn't exist any more and you are concerned with what exists today.
So you mind your business and allow me to mind mine. And we can both keep smiling.
Those Hindu people who left their motherland only to change of luck, are the betrayers of their motherland.
If you want some evidence about why "those Hindu people" left their motherland, I can make the matter as clear as you wish. Have you read the resignation letter of Jinnah's hand-picked Finance Minister, when he explained why he was resigning? Read up on facts and on historical evidence before you take to posturing.
But, we didn't leave. Who cares what some betrayer/kicked-out's hindi speaking bengali ancestors think.
Evidently you are not one of the thousands throning our streets and our roads at this moment, seeking specialised medical attention, business prospects, and employment. I congratulate you on your sturdy independence and refusal to follow the hordes who have decided otherwise. I presume that you will not categorise these as betrayer/kicked out hindi speaking bengali ancestors. Or as they are not Hindu, you will not find it necessary to define them as Those Hindu people who left their motherland only to change of luck, are the betrayers of their motherland.
Purely as a matter of interest, what will you call them? With a smile, of course.
We do never use the term epar-opar, kata-taarer dewal.
It is not difficult to understand why the term kata-taarer dewal makes you nervous.
Has it occurred to you that these are used sometimes by condescending and hateful people who want to find something in common with you, and after failing to think of anything useful, come up with these useless concepts? Think about it.
Cause, those doesn't matter for us cause we have gained in true brave bengali's way.
It does seem sometimes that you need to be reassured every five minutes about being true, brave Bengalis.
Here we go: you are true brave Bengalis and you won everything for yourselves, and continue to win. Until the next five minutes, then.
And, WB who left with Indians are the losing side to the hindi-speaking, gorkhaland ppl.
Good. Congratulations. Gorkhas don't speak Hindi, but that should not matter to you; you have already stated that it is none of your business.
You to yours, we to ours. We are happy that you are happy with your constant civil wars, and your inherent hatred of each other. While you have others to hate, you do that with the greatest of ease. Once your hate has eliminated them, you start on 'your own'. That should keep your numbers in check, if nothing else. I am impressed, for instance, by the family planning measures of your BDR, who eliminated a lot of Pakistan-centric men and women involved in military service. Very strategic move, and it is nice to watch and realise that by your good wishes, we are not part of these periodic massacres.
And, from this side we will keep smilling.
You will get as many as you give.
