Yes, BD will keep on progressing. But, it is not necessary that it can be done by AL only. During its last term, AL did not do well, but they have learned from their mistakes. BNP also did not any good to the country. Instead, its leaders went after cheap money at the expense of the country's welfare. I hope, BNP will keep on learning and will continue with the country's progress.

BNP has to take an anti-Indian stance, but it does not mean that this Party is not progressive minded. But, to instill a permanent progressive thinking in the minds of the population and their leaders, India has to play a big role. It should vacate our sea and land, and should cease to send supports to the rebels in the CHT.

Then the anti-India feeling goes away and we become more progressive without a Jihadi thinking. Whatever may be the AL policy towards India, even they do not like Indian DADA style of doing things.

"He went to London on October 22, 1969 following his release in the Agartala case on April 22 that year. I reached London the next day from Italy, where I was living with my husband," Hasina told a party rally yesterday.
