What's new

Bangladesh is close to finalise a deal with China for six mega projects valued over $6 billion.

Already impressive infrastructure build up :rofl:

When news like this comes up:

They have been talking about Dhaka metro ever since 2007. They did even claimed that it would be the best in South Asia.

It hasn't even started construction yet.

Yes I get a more realistic and sombering picture from my friend from Bangladesh who's father owns one of their larger businesses.....quite a different picture that the internet coolies here fantasize about. :P

When you got no real pulse on the reality, the winds of the internet fantasies can take you for quite a ride :D

.
Thank you China for deal :) :china:We need more help from China for infrastructure development future

This will be over around 5-6 years.

BD is also getting support from Japan to the tune of 6 billion dollars over 5 years and many
billions from other sources such as World Bank and ADB.

12 billion dollars just recently came from Russia for Roopur nuclear power plant.

When all these sources of funding are coupled with BD's own funding of 4 billion dollars for projects like Padma bridge and billions every year for other projects, then you can see the quantum leap in BD infrastructure that will happen over the next 5-6 years.

Dude, stop making yourself look a fool and accept the reality of BD's transformation that is
happening for all to see.

Why do you reply every post of this idiot troll. You just hand him over a mirror. He will start vomit junks pages after pages. You just sit back and enjoy.

Mumbai Metro is hardly four years old. I think you mean the overcrowded suburban rail.
Bruv the videos were taken on a Monday I believe... It was just so overcrowded that the doors were still open... Train was being driven at a slow speed and people on the front were literally getting rubbed against the train.

Because it is fun to see him make an idiot of himself.

He obviously has no job or is a student doing a trivial course as otherwise
he could not spend all day typing here.

There is an element of ignorance here but a lot of it comes from this fake
"superiority complex" he has against BD to make his existence a little
more bearable.

But Metro trains cannot move without their doors closed.

. . .
I know. I was wondering the same thing...

Pretty sure it may be the suburban commuter trains. Some of them have "doors" on the newer rakes:

@anant_s can maybe pinpoint what you are talking about better

Then you are mistaken with Mumbai local to Mumbai metro. Mumbai has 3 modes of local rail transports....Mumbai local, Mumbai metro and Mono rail. A metro train can not move from station till all doors are closed....while Mumbai local is kind of open door and crowed.

Unfortunately I couldn't find the video in his Facebook profile... So many photos... I will embed one from YouTube that depicts the rush everyday.

This is Delhi Metro & I don't see the trains moving with their doors open. In DM, there is rush on a few lines at peak hours. It's not as worse as Japan though, where professional pushers are employed.

Anyway, none of these videos prove your claims. Actually if you know a thing abou t these systems, their frequency...

Don't worry, when your first 20 km metro line gets ready by 2022, you'll know what this is about.
