What's new

Bangladesh gets unusual kudos from NYT columnist

true, the corruption in many different parts of the government is restraining bangladesh's growth. but i think bangladesh should still step up its military spending, mostly on modernising the current equipment procuring, preferrably the air force

. . . .
You do realise, don't you, that this so called 'field experience' is called racism.
Yes, we should not call someone belonging to lower caste unless it is needed. Moreover, caste system itself cannot be approved or encouraged. No one is high borne or low borne. All are equal.

By the way, Hindus are in high positions in BD, because they are educated. This is contrary to what the Indians like to believe, and what our half educated Mullahs would prefer.

Good Going Bangladesh.
Everybody wants a stable, vibrant and responsible neighbor.
Bangladesh would be the best candidate for above.... I seriously hope it ( investment in education, health ) continues.
Educated citizens can't be misguided and "brain washed". They are the biggest asset of any country.

.
If we don't have a strong military, how are we going to protect our economic interests? We have discussed and saw where our threats are from.We would certainly not like to be like Kuwait of '90s.
Military needs to grow in proportion to the the economy. So our cries about defence is justified.
We spend the lowest among South Asian countries in military.Even in terms of GDP %.We would have been more economically developed, had there not been corruption.I think you know the feeling.Fortunate for you,you people have reduced corruption. But we are long way from it.
Any self respected Bangladeshi would ask why should we have to justify need of our military and its improvements to indians? Who are they to question and who are these people who give indians the importance to give justification? And what type of people live to talk about NYT praise which primaryly had been a propaganda medium against Bangladesh. Shouldn't we look for and have better stats and records to talk about Bangladesh achivements?

India always want to maintain good relationship with BD, which is obviously complimentary for both in all spheres..so BDs kindly understand the reality and don't react as though Indi:wave::wave:a is your enemy country.

When Indians are unanimous in justification of killing Bangladeshis, when Indians are funding, terror organization against Bangladesh and actively occupying Bangladesh territory, sure india is not “enemy”, only the kind where - who needs enemy when indian is the friend.

stop your civilians from entering india border, since terrorists disguise as civilians, what BSF will do.
