As far Myanmar is considered, our trading and not trading won't topple Junta in their country but trading will bring more prosperity in their country and our country and that is not bad. And Myanmar is going slow change and India and world are supporting this slow change, Su Kyi and junta are no more hostile to each other.

The present government are still under heavy influence of the previous Junta leaders. And they'll never hand over power to Aung San Suu Kyi. Only to wind up as a minority lot in parliament.

There never was any evidence of military takeover. And we never said that military rule would be good for us. It'd in fact do worse.

The recent Maj. Zia drama was nothing but propaganda from the current government. It takes a lot more than a dozen mid-ranking and retired officers to stage a coup. Including mobilizing military forces during the coup. And a guy attempting to run Bangladesh while living in Hong Kong? Please...

The recent statements are nothing short of propaganda to shift people's attention away from the Awami League's failures in many areas.

And the army's statements did attack the opposition BNP (without mentioning the party's name). Not good, not good at all. Things like that are what destroys the army's credibility.

That was our point. Ask any Bangladeshi on the streets who'd buy that story. The answer is none unless one is an Awami fanboy.

Well, the cartoon was not done by me or my country. It is a 2007 cartoon made by Burmese sources.

Hell, there are plenty of mocking cartoons of Obama. No biggy there.

I've met many Burmese while in high school and college in Bangkok. They don't have a great opinion of India. And a pretty intense dislike for China.
