Bangladesh: Extremism and shrinking space for dissent

They are already moving for the last seven decades. If you go to my native place, there you will find people who have migrated from Bangladesh due to overt or covert threat 50 years ago, 20 years ago, and 2 years ago...Hindus have reduced to 5%-6% in Bangladesh from 1/3rd of the population in 1941 census, it's only a matter of time before they vanish from Bangladesh completely.

That is good news for India. Hindus and Buddhists should find India as their home.

There is a general perception that they are educated and literate(by and large). Their influx will also help our nation in the long run. Even if they are not, they should be given refuge - for they are persecuted only for their faith, the faith that all Indians share. It is highly desirable and I hope they are afforded all the hospitality that we can muster.

No Indians share the Muslim faith?

This kind of discriminatory Hindu attitude is why Bangladesh and Pakistan became separate countries...eye-for-an-eye and a tooth-for-a-tooth.

I am happy many of your fellow Dadas don't share your attitude...
