BD exports have hit 34 billion US dollars. This is compared to 27 billion US dollars for Pakistan.
Russia has loaned BD 12 billion US dollars for a nuclear power plant.
BD somehow is finding 4 billion US dollars out of it's own pocket to build Padma bridge.
2 more 2 billion US dollar power plants are being built by China in BD with Chinese loans.
Finally China has promised a whopping 24 billion dollars of loans to BD for infrastructure.

If BD was as poor as Somalia, would anyone be interested in loaning BD tens of billions of dollars when it
has next to no natural resources to use to pay them back?Where would such a poor country like BD find 4 billion US dollars out of It's own pocket to build the Padma bridge?
