How can anyone doubt the combat capability of Pakistan military now?

They slapped India so hard this year all the Indians could do was cry to USA that Pakistan used F-16s against them!

Pakistan Airforce certainly showed combat capabilities. Their action was executed with precision delivering a blow to Indian military capability and credibility. I think PM Imran Khan played his cards the best possible way by showing resolve and compassion ( freeing the Indian pilot) , while PM Modi was exposed as the Feku like Congress calls him.

And yes, we should have UAE and KSA defence forums because those two countries are not only very important for Pakistan but also have significant defence spending and some of the best weapons. Also they operate a lot of systems from Pakistan.

In a real war Pak stands no chance against India.That's a fact.

That Indian pilot got captured due to his failure to obey the command of his superior. Its a part of the war. U'll lose some battle and win some. But what matters is the result of the war, not the result of the battle.

Having said that I personally admire the effort that Imran Khan made to de-ecalate the situation. Modi was using the life of his soldiers to solidify the position of his political party.

BN's publicly announced plans would make anyone, including India, take it very seriously.

We don't compare ourselves with countries like Pakistan, Myanmar or Afghanistan. These countries r totally insignificant and usually the policy of these counties r determined by other major powers like USA, Russia, China etc.

These countries r so dependent on these foreign powers that even on a message board with anonymous identity the citizens of these countries r scared to criticize these foreign powers.

As the fastest growing country in the world we consider ourself in a completely different league. No, we aren't intersted to compare ourselves with those countries which have a broken economy and whose main source of income is foreign donation.

To be honest I had a lot of respect for Bangladeshis when I joined this forum. I even employed some Bangladeshis in my restaurant in uae. I agree, and it should be the sane minded Pakistanis who must take the initiative to ensure that this mudslinging from their fellow countrymen stops at the earliest. As you rightly put things to perspective, it has been 48 years and lot of water have flown under the bridge. New generation in both countries (and India too) needn't carry that baggage.
