Bangladesh Budget and its fakery

Bold part: Below is what the internet says about the number of imports of vehicles in Pakistan. Seems not very good. BD imports about 30,000 vehicles although the two figures do not really demonstrate the strength of the economy.

My personal opinion is Pakistan has far better infrastructure than BD.

"The total number of old and used cars imported in Pakistan has drastically decreased to 10,432 during 2019-20 as compared to 46,000 during 2015-16, reflecting a decrease of 77.32% or 35,568 vehicles during the last four fiscal years".
you are only taking about imports and FYI Pakistan have her own big auto mobile industry and only in 2019 Pakistan made almost 300K vehicles that excludes Motorcycles.

Pakistan produces almost 2 milion motorcycles in 2018 and since then these productions have been very fast paced.

Bangladesh only import all vehicles and doesnt have any own industry and you are comparing it with Pakistan imports which is less then 5% of total Pakistan produced :enjoy:

Thier cars have huge taxes and infra isn't compatible for a proper car culture

This is not a good metric to judge

read the post above i was just clarifying further there are more smaller countries in the world with high car ownership so your logic is flawed as you cant say that Bangladesh is too small that every one can go to every where by walk lol.

Hey @bluesky do you understand you can also have different infrastructure and that different urban design practices lead to different personal vehicle consumption rates. Go on google maps and look at the planned DHA cities and current suburban sprawl in Pakistani cities. A large amount of cities in Pakistan and its suburbs are planned around the highway as suburbs and meant to accessible only by motor vehicle. Compare motorization rate of France and US, the US has double does that mean it is twice as rich or that its infrastructure is better? Not really given that its type of infrastructure that matters
that is the question and the discussion of this thread which you are unable to comprehend it seems.
Pakistani cities have massive suburban sprawl which are also enforced by laws stopping developers from building high rises. Its not the same thing.

What's the number of car registrations per million population in Delhi NCR which has a metro network of 389 km? Or in highly dense Mumbai with its 427 km suburban rail?

Compare that with Dhaka.

Retard you didn't listen to what I said. Mumbai designs and accommodates for cars its not the same thing. Compare the cars per capita in China with a country that has a similar sized middle class as a percentage of population and a similar HDI such as Brazil. Brazil has 364 cars per 1,000 people versus China with 207 cars per 1,000 people. Is the average Chinese poorer than the average Brazilian? No adjusting for inflation the average Chinese has a better life. However, one county has developed itself around accommodating to passenger cars while the other has not. Why would having a massive number of passenger cars be good? Few households own a car in India and it creates massive pollution which negatively impacts the general population's welfare with a massive traffic issue that doesn't do much.

You retards resort to all sorts of justifications for your incompetence. Then how about motorcycle sales? Are they too avoided for pollution concerns? (20 million vs 500000). What about smartphones? (7 million vs 150 million).
What about public transportation? (13 operating and 10 under construction metros vs 1 under construction).
How about farm mechanization (800000 tractors vs 3500 tractors)? How about electronic sales? ($41 billion in sales to 1.4 billion in sales). Start justifying all these.
