Budget estimates for 2019-20 was estimated at 6,42,000 cr taka.

Lo and behold, actuals have come out in this years budget which is only 4,20,160 cr taka, fakery of over 35%. There is no opposition in Bangladesh to question this practice.

This has been the trend with respect to this country. There you have it folks, the truth of mighty Bangladesh.

At-least they have kept the debt situation under control. I haven't seen their budgetary documents, so I don't want to comment. But there are some doubts, like e.g; the auto sales, there is such a lower number of motor vehicles sold. Maybe their one sector(auto) is in a slump but seriously, if people aren't buying cars with their money than what are they buying?

Economy is the mother of all relationships. Hundreds of years ago great philosopher Karl Marx nicely pointed it out.

Every one will pass india in terms of GDP/ per capita....instead of whining and feeling butthurt .. ....beating India in economy is nothing to be proud of lol...like its been third world country in last 70 year will remain a shit hole next 70 years. nothing much will change.

Its not fake, budgets are estimates. They overestimated tax collection in 2019-20 by quite a bit.

They do it every year. Their GDP figures are suspect too. For example this year they are going to collect may be 2.6 trillion in total revenue. But look at 2021-22 budget, they still have it at 3.9 trillion. I mean they expect to raise their revenue by 33%. It is a norm there to overinflate budgets to show the world all is hunky dory that Bangladesh is a massive success story. It's not. It is clear from the numbers they put out.

For all the eco comic growth this is a country that buys 3000 new cars and 7 million smartphones a year. I mean where is the money in the economy?

Dude, has this not been explained to you multiple times already?

BD has higher per capita gdp than India now and way ahead of Pakistan but that does not mean that the people have more cash. Google "accumulated wealth" as I am not inclined to explain this concept yet again.

Also as has been mentioned many times before BD has massive import taxes on cars and so cars are far more expensive in BD than in India or Pakistan. This makes sense as BD does not yet have a decent enough road infrastructure and anyway is a very densely populated country and so wants to encourage more use of public transport like rail and buses.

Your posts remind me of that now permanently banned Tamil who ran a years long hate campaign against BD as he felt BD posters did not give him his due "respect".

I suggest you actually do some basic research on BD first and then post as otherwise you look uninformed and silly.

Lol. Quote me I'll explain what is wealth. Not BBS fudged GDP percapita.

How do you explain low smartphone sales? or any other consumer electronics?

No it has not been explained. Dodged yes, by giving go-mutra replies just like this one, but it has been answered nor it will ever be. Straight give me figures of auto vehicles being sold in Bangladesh yearly bases.

Google GDP, and no I am not inclined to explain you every little economics concept. Neither I am inclined to inform that our economy, unlike you and India is not even properly documented Consumption, Investment, Gov spending, exports-imports. Which, btw your exports are heavily based on LDC status. And I would rather prefer you graduate it in 2022 than in 2026. Then we WILL actually see the real export numbers.

The only thing, the single thing which I appreciate the Bangladesh has handled well is their debt situation. Other than that it's figure fudging or plain lying. If you wanna live in delusions, sure keep on doing that. And if you wanna use passive aggressive language towards, I rather prefer you ignore my comments. I presented a simple question about car sales and it's gets on the nerves of immature Bangladeshis (next super power delusionists). Meanwhile, the mature ones like in other discussion see the fault lines, like lack of diversity in exports, or questioning among themselves, what would happen if they graduate from LDC.
