Where is the MLRS from?

Army is currently evaluating platforms to make their desired specifications. This is the second phase of the evaluation.

Once evaluations are done & specifications are ready they will float a tender by end of this year.

But from the 'guided' part of the program, China is leading the race.

The whole concept of rockets are swarming the enemy with artilery where missile defence will be ineffective. Long range projectiles aka missiles are in different league.
