ASEAN+3 means ASEAN+China+Japan+South Korea and you know what NATO means. And which "KIND" would that be genius? Why do you think we have a separate country called Bangladesh, if we could stick with Indians?

The only ASEAN country we have problem with is Burma and that will also be fixed sometime in the future.

Bangladesh wants to and will have good relationship with all countries of the world, but if you guys do not learn to behave and meddle in our internal affairs, like your support and backing of Awami League, you can never have a normal relationship with Bangladesh. As it is you are engaged in a covert war to turn and keep Bangladesh as a vassal state under India's control using Awami League. This project will never fly, so you guys better put a stop to it, before its too late.

The exact same thing that US, UK, Singapore, France, Russia, Malaysia among others gain from having constant military relations with India.

These high profile visits give opportunities to India to give these salaried officers a royal treatment and if anything it makes their whole outlook softer towards India.

I would rather like to see more military to military relationship with ASEAN+3 and NATO countries, but I fail to see what we gain from such relationship with India. Can any Bangladeshi with more knowledge please enlighten us?

BD is not surrounded on three sides by ASEAN+3.

NATO's strength lies in Pacific & Atlantic not Indian Ocean & esp. not BoB.

Nor did NATO nor did ASEAN played any role in BD's independence, infact the former was opposed to the IDEA itself.

India is the regional Giant, one likes it or not, one has to deal with it & forge good relations.

Maybe a Bangladeshi with more knowledge would have said you the same but in Private

India should stop meddling in your affairs & Burma will be FIXED (Love the sound of that ) SOON.

Apart from that, BD is the most FRIENDLY country on earth which has good relations with all (extended neighbors, US, UK, west etc.).

Maybe you don't know how things work. you can be friendly with all 200 countries of this world, but in the end, for major part, one has to deal with neighbors. Unless you have innovate a new tech. where BD will be Physically lifted & transferred wherever it like

Exactly what can BD do to threaten us? Even active proxies are out of the question now as India need only concentrate on the BD border as Burma has earnestly started dismantling all such groups on their side of the border.
