Army Chief meets Turkish Chief of Land Forces and Chief of General Staff - ISPR
Dhaka, August 25, 2021: Visiting Army Chief General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, OSP, NDU, PSC met Turkish Chief of Land Forces General Musa av Sever (Musa Avsever) and Chief of General Staff General Yasser Guler (Yaşar Güler) for the past two days (23 and 24 August 2021). During the meeting, the Bangladesh Army Chief discussed various issues of bilateral interest between the Turkish and Bangladesh armies. The discussions dominated areas of possible defence cooperation between the two countries, training exchanges, etc.
General S.M. Shafiuddin Ahmed visited the Operation Control Room, Army Aviation Headquarters and Turkish Airspace Industries of the Turkish Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) in addition to meeting important military personnel of the Turkish Army. He also visited the cemetery and museum of Mostafa Kamal Ataturk in Ankara and paid homage at his (Kamal Ataturk) monument there.
